Vermont trip

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: near the restaurant, shopping
Cons: the entire motel needs renovation
Location: hiking, shopping, restaurant
My boyfriend and I went to Vermont to join my sister and her family for a weekend getaway. We choose this hotel because its affordable however the hotel is an old house that was converted to a bed and breakfast motel. The smell of the the room was moldy. The carpet was too old and torn. The entire motel needs renovation. However, the staff is very nice and helpful.

Good value Inn

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Clean and spacious room
Cons: Wish they also offered breakfast.
Location: Only a few minutes from Stowe Main street
This is a clean, reasonably priced motel in Stowe where hotels and restaurants tend to be a bit upmarket and overpriced. Would stay here again.

A budget stay in the stowe area

The carpet is dirty, probably because the damaged caused in the skiing season. Other than that, it is a comfortable stay. Quite a few restraurants just nearby.

Overall positive experience. Its all about having the right expectations. If you are OK with being a bit rustic and don't need all the creature comforts, you'll be happy to find you have just what you need. I went during a very slow time, so that of course makes a big difference since had more space and quite and attention.

Comfortable, no frills place to stay

Posted Jun 7, 2010
For a inn/motel, this worked well for my friends and me. The room had two double beds and one single bed. We were only staying in the area for one night and there were three of us, so it worked out perfectly. The location was very convenient with the Stowe bikeway/walkway just behind the rooms. Definitely not a fancy place, but comfortable and affordable.
