We were pleasantly surprised by this great little place to stay. We stayed in the older section and felt very comfy cozy. The newer cabins look very nice, and definitely going to look into in the future.

I clean homes for a living. I was disappointed their was cobwebs, bathroom had mold on shower curtain and along the tub. The bathroom door did not shut. And it had a musty smell in the room.

Love this property and will stay here again. We staying the back hotel rooms and both rooms we had where wonderful. Clean and comfortable. Staff was a joy! One of our favorite places to stay!

The only thing good about the room was that the beds were comfortable and the linens seemed clean. The bathroom was awful - the wallpaper was peeling and bubbling and buckling - the water pressure in the shower was non-existent - the showerhead was so low, the water flow (what there was of it) hit my chest, not my head. The main room also had peeling wallpaper; it cant be that hard to glue it down. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life; this one was the worst.

Cute Northwoods feel for a great price/location
We had a great stay, the ONLY minor issues were the cabin door we had stuck, and there was a slight" musty odor, that could be just because it's a wood cabin. Very quiet, easy check-in and close to alot. For the price, I'd say this is an AWESOME option~ I'd recommend :)

We liked our cabin!
We were a bit concerned after reading some of the negative reviews, BUT, we were very happily content with our cabin. We arrived a bit early and were able to get into the cabin a bit earlier than normal check in time. The front desk was very friendly. The cabins are close together, however it was very quiet for us. The only suggestion I would make is that when the cabins are cleaned, the window shades/slates need to be dusted a bit better. Other than that, the cabin was pretty clean.

I rented two rooms they both where not clean the jacuzzi that was in my room had hair all over it I reported to the hotel personal and they acted like they didn’t care I will never go there again

Overpriced for quality
Overpriced for what it was. The cabin was very cute and we picked it due to it being dog friendly, having separate bedrooms, and being disconnected from other rooms. However, it was in need of some major maintenance. The front door was missing the blind so we had to cover it with a towel to get some privacy as you can see directly into the bathroom and bedroom from outside. There was mold on the shower curtain and in the caulking around the shower. Lights were burned out. The upstairs TV did not work. For $400/night, I expected it to be a little nicer. Should have spent half the money and stayed in one of the smaller chalets.

Everything was clean and we did have trouble with our fridge in our cabin. One phone call and someone was there within 5 minutes. The jets in the hottub did not work inside the waterpark. Had a great 25 year wedding anniversary weekend though. Thanks

Great location, convenient to walk to downtown businesses. Very uncomfortable bed, worn out mattresses, bathroom needs overhaul, toilet rocks, shower is avocado green all amenities from the 70's. Lampshade cracked and fell off. TV didn't work (staff tried to remedy) No room service offered. Very noisy from upstairs occupants children running around overhead. Not worth the price we paid at all.

Had multiple things not working - Internet and cable TV, refrigerator and porch light. Called front desk multiple times and was promised service that never came. Talked to Manager who rudely and sarcastically said “sorry, have a nice day.” Staff absolutely rude, didn’t care are offensive. The room was the size of a closet with nowhere to sit or move around. Many things did not work and was filthy!

The room looked nice and the bed was clean and comfortable but we immediately noticed as we walked in the room the smell like mildew, old socks and wet dog. We had to run the ac and bathroom fan all night to keep the odor at bay. The bathroom floor was dirty, there was mildew and broken leftover pipes under the sink and the tub had mildew on the caulking. The bathroom ceiling light had no casing and we had minimal towels. I stayed at this hotel last year and thought it was nice enough to stay again but I will not stay here again.

The only thing I didnt like is that the facilitiy dog are to go to the bathroom was right in front of our cabin. I dont have dogs and watching them all poop was not pleasant while looking at Lake Huron. The cabin was beautiful and we enjoyed how quiet it was. The beds were comfortable and all of us enjoyed our restful sleep, so much so that we wanted to stay longer to get more rest. I wish that check in was earlier than 5 oclock. Just as we got comfortable, we had to leave.

I really liked the cabin. I didn't like how many lights weren't working, and the wooden floor was incredibly dirty. Also, there was a broken mirror. Other than that it was nice.

Upon entering our room, there was a woman there. , on her phone and eating chips. Was able to get a different room. However, the room was filthy, there was hair on the floor and flies in the bathroom. Will never stay here again.

The keycards needed to be reset. The knob on the refrigerator was missing so I tried to use the room phone to call the front desk. The phone was dead but plugged in. The tissue box was empty. There was no caulk around the entire bathtub which was gross. The furniture was very old and battered. Trash surrounded the outside of our room. The desk clerk picked up a bath towel when he replaced another room's TV receiver. We won't be back.

Check in was fast! Rooms were clean! Pool was heated and hot tub was hot! Water slides were running. Overall a decent stay….just the basics.

We were woken up several times during the night from people jumping or pounding something in the room above us. Then about 4:00am guys were yelling (talking loudly) as they were leaving for work I assume. Maybe put older couples near the office (which was great last year!).

Room for significant improvement.
The experience was less than we anticipated. I thought we were getting a cabin, we ended up with a room. The window lock was broken, the bed was uncomfortable, the lighting was substandard, and we couldn’t figure out the television. Fortunately, we were only in the room to sleep.
