A little run down. Family operated with what looks like family or workers or both living in one part of the complex.

Pros: Reasonable price for a Labor Day weekend.
Cons: Stairway to back, upper level had narrow steps that were probably not up to code.
Location: Prime location to Lake Huron, straits, and downtown Cheboygan, MI
Clean and comfortable. Close to where we wanted to go.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Pool alittle small but heated and well maintained. Lots of pool toys for the kids.

The hotel was over-priced for the type of hotel. The toilet over-flowed each time it was flushed which was a problem but I told the management about it. I thought it was over-priced for the type of hotel it was which was an average, pet-friendly basic, "no-frills' hotel.
