Not worth the cost

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: See above comments
Location: Water view, close to restaurants, etc.
Room, and staff were ok, certainly not exceptional. The breakfast was awful, one flavor of yogurt the first day, NO yogurt the second...pastries consisted of a box of hostess powdered sugar donuts poured into a bowl. 2 days of biscuits, gravy, and some cheap sausage patties.

Nice motel! Only problem was that out tub didn't drain well but they fixed it immediately when we told them.

Good hotel, bad WiFi.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub was nice, and the continental breakfast was adequate. The biggest problem we had was using the WiFi network. It was hard to login and difficult to get data even you were logged in.

Got jacuzzi room. Room was not very spacious. Couldn't find room enough to do sit-ups or stretch on floor. Very damp and dark. Caked sand on table when we checked into room. Overpriced for what you get.

Nice hotel on the water. Next to the dock where the boats to go to the island are located.

Pros: We were offered to upgrade to a lake view. It was nice.
Cons: The housekeeping staff were rude. I was on the only elevator and they pulled two of their cleaning carts in with me and my family. CROWDED!
Location: Not much to do nearby.
Nice to be so close to the ferry. It was right next to the hotel. The hotel was nice and well kept. The kids liked the hot tub and swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was nice. We will stay here again.

It's a cookie cutter hotel that's way too big. The breakfast room is in a corner of the hotel and if it's the only one in the hotel that's scary.
