“False advertising”

This hotel did not have some of the amentities that it showed on your website. According to the amentities of the courtside room that were advertised, we did not have a microwave or a complimentary paper. The hotel did not have a restaurant, but a breakfast room. There was no bar/lounge on the property. I did not see any outdoor pool. When I asked about the microwave, I was told that the courtside rooms don't get one. When you go to the website and show the amenities for a courtside room it shows a microwave. I asked about the complimentary paper the first day and they said it was late. There were a couple papers a day later but it was a local paper with very little info. I would not recommend this hotel just for the fact that they did not have many of the things that they advertised.

“Not Impressed”

I was not impressed with the hotels service. I didn't even get my wake up call that I asked for. I did enjoy the location of the hotel from the shops.

“Not at all how I pictured..”

This hotel was more like a motel. I was not comfortable here at all. When we first walked into the room we noticed it had a "Smell" to it. Kind of musty. We called the front desk to ask if we could be moved to another room. Thinking that it may just be our room. And we were rudely told that they were full and that there was nothing they could do. Even though, the Vacancy sign was still on outside! The room was dark and dreary, even with the shades open. The view outside was of the parking lot with dead bugs plastered all over the windows. The bathroom was extremely small. We wouldn't let our son take a shower without laying a towel down first. Dirt was stained into the bathtub. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. Just a horrible experience. The only Pros were that it was very close to our Ferry, they practically shared the same parking lot with Starline. And the breakfast was Okay. Nothing great, but Okay. Find a better hotel if you decide to stay in the area.

“Disappointed”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the Memorial Day weekend and I was generally quite disappointed with the choice we made. The two main reasons for this were poor quality of service as well as food served at the complimentary breakfast. Overall, the hotel staff did not appear willing or able to help with questions or requests. We were particularly shocked by all the noise the housekeepers were making (yelling and swearing) when cleaning other rooms, while my husband and I were trying to sleep into the later morning. It was absolutely impossible to sleep. Additionally, there was no fruit at all served at the complimentary breakfast and no skim milk was offered as an option, which was frustrating as well. The location is great but I would not recommend this hotel if you care about quality of service and want a relaxing vacation.

“beautiful location”

The whole experience was very good. The staff was very nice.and helpful. The only comment I would make is that it is a very large hotel and it is quite far from the desk to the farthest room on the end which we had. It was not a problem for us but someone older it would be a hike. Also I can imagine when the hotel is full the breakfast area would be hard pressed to hold everyone . But the breakfast we had was delicious.

It was way too noisey. We left a day early. mainly because of family emergency. The lady at the counter was impolite. It seems like she couldn't wait to tell me that I will not get a refund for one day. anyways....not going back to that hotel again. Thanks.

Was a great hotel in good location. Only thing - don't spend extra money on "falls view" room. It can be seen, but way down the street.

“Mackinaw City”

The location of the hotel was great. within walking distance of the downtown area and boat docks. The room was ok. The bed was very uncomfortable. The beach view is great but unfortunately, the beach needs to be cleaned up. The hotel should be taking care of the property that they tout as their own strip of beach. Hotel staff was ok. not overly friendly. Breakfast was good.
