“Love the Lakeview!”

The room was large and sunny; the beds were comfortable. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We love the Lakeview because of the front porch, and the porches on each floor.....Mackinac Island is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the horses, buggies and bicycles passing by, and few accommodations on the Island provide that. It's a wonderful bonus! As a guest, our luggage was handled for us, and we recieved a discount on the ferry.

“This hotel will be our new "go-to" spot!”

This was our second time staying at The Lakeview Hotel. It is so close to the downtown area where all of the shopping is, really close to the boardwalk where you can get a direct view of the Mackinaw Bridge and it has a indoor pool! The continental breakfast is great and for a little extra you can purchase an omelette that they make right infront if you. My fiancée and I plan on staying at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel, very clean and friendly staff. The hotel is great about handling luggage and will store it for you after checkout so that you may leave the island on your own time. Will be staying here again for our next Mackinac Island trip!

“Just what we needed”

Great, convenient location across from Shepler's Ferry and on Main Street. Surpassed expectations. Had everything we needed and then some, complimentary continental breakfast, too. I would stay there again.

“Great location”

What a great hotel in a perfect location for Mackinac activities. Right on Main St with a gorgeous view of the lake. We had a great time just sitting in the rockers on the front porch watching people! Close to everything the island offers, the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. It was the perfect place to stay and we would definitely go back; the only issue was the majority of rooms face the pool and it got noisy at night; next time I would request a room away from the pool.

Hotel has a great location at the west end of Downtown. The Star ferry line dock is right across the street, so if you want to deal with your own luggage, Star is the ferry line to take. The Lakeside front porch is very enjoyable, rocking chairs to watch the happenings on the main street of the island.

“We got an exceptional great room”

One thing that made our stay at the Lake View Hotel especially nice was the top floor room facing Main street. The view of the harbor and street was great. The kids really enjoyed the pool too. Also the weather was beautiful.
