I was in room 221. I loved how it was away from everybody else. I was very peaceful and the bathtub had Jacuzzi tub in it.

Given the wrong room at first then given keys that would not open my but opened the door of a different room across the hall.3 trips up down the stairs to get the right keys. I needed a nap. Otherwise everything was good

Hotel was better on this stay. It was less of a musty smell. Overall cleaner and they were shampooing carpets. Pool and hot tub were better temperatures this year.

Best place to stay in St. Ignace
It’s a great place. The only thing I don’t care for is the wouldn’t accept cash? I don’t understand why anyone in America would say they won’t accept cash payments. Anyway I’m sure there’s a good reason. This property is maintained beautifully. Hats off to the housekeepers & maintenance staff. You guys deserve to be acknowledged

Anniversary UP trip
When booking, I had made note that it was our anniversary trip to the UP. When we entered our room, it had rose petals throughout the room, fresh bouquet of flowers, sparkling juice and glasses, pair of chocolate moose heads, and towels made to look like they were kissing on our bed. Totally surprised and greatly appreciated the care and time it had to take Stephanie to do. The room itself was fantastic as was the morning breakfast. Would recommend staying here to anyone that asks, and our dog was able to stay with us too.

Our room was next to the gym/workout area where a tv was at full blast on the entire night. We thought it was another guest's room, but when we woke up from our poor sleep due to excessive noise throughout the night from the tv my husband figured out it was coming from the gym. Upon check out, I didn't get much of an apology. There is also peeling wallpaper in our room. Everything else was fine, unfortunately for you we won't be staying here again because I expected better customer service than what we got. Moving on.

I would stay again
Very nice stay. The staff was friendly, it was clean and did not smell like indoor pool. Beds where comfortable. The breakfast was good the usual waffles, eggs, sausage etc. I would recommend and stay again.

Property is very old and dated. Old dirty smelly carpeting throughout with wallpaper peeling off the walls and water stained ceilings from roof leaks. Bathroom fixtures are ancient and permanently stained and smelly. Small front desk area but staff are very friendly and helpful. Lobby looks like someone just has thrown bunch of furniture from garage sales of 1950s together. Not on brand at all.

Nice, clean,, and a welcome sight.
This hotel was a happy place considering some of our previous stays along our trip. The room was clean and orderly. The breakfast was very good and the food items were constantly being refreshed. We did not take advantage of the pool or gym. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and the pool. The staff were smiling, kind and accomodating. Neat and clean place. Lot of options for Breakfast. I highly recommend the place. We will stay again next time we visit Mackinac Island and St. Ignace.
