“Bike Friendly”

Hotel staff was very helpful to our need to store two bikes - not in our room. They gave us a key to a storage room so we could get the bikes in and out anytime we needed. Unknown to us, the hotel was right on a very pleasant crushed limestone bike trail that went from Mackinaw City 17 miles to Cheyboyan and then connect to other trails. Staff was happy to let us keep car parked in parking lot after check out so we could do more bike riding - and when we returned we found a bag with several items we'd overlooked in the room hanging on our bike rack. Room was neat and clean and included a small fridge which was very helpful. Beds were softer than our preferance. There was a slight odor of smoke when we walked in to our non-smoking room (in the carpet?) but it was not bothersome and we are usually quite sensitve to smoke odor.

“It was okay”

They need to take care of some mold issues and the hot tub is in really bad condition.

“Good stay”

Everything was very good except for the wi-fi connection which would not maintain a connection. The staff did try to fix it. I had no problem with my laptop connections before or after my stay. If they upgrade their equipment, I'd have given 5 stars

“Great for the price”

The location is a bit outside the main part of town, but still within walking distance. VERY close to ferry docks. Staff was extremely courteous & helpful. The building is clearly old, but it is well-maintained & clean. The room was clean & bed was comfortable. Small TV, but that's not why we were there. Only real complaint about the room was the temperature fluctuation in the shower. It took constant adjustment. Breakfast was also good. We were very happy & would stay again.

“AMAZING ROOM FOR PRICE!!! WOULD STAY AGAIN”

This was a very nice hotel! The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the price was GREAT!! The front desk staff was helpful also. Free breakfast, free shuttle to the ferry dock, and coupons off ferry ride!

“Very good motel for the price”

Very helpful front desk staff. Room was clean and good sized (two queen beds) - two adults & 3 teens did not feel crowded. Pool and jacuzzi area also well kept and clean. Complementary breakfast was good, sufficient to make a decent meal of; breakfast room attendant was very cheerful and very helpful. Rates were reasonable because it was not on the water, but it was about a 2 minute drive to the ferry docks and downtown. For the rate charged, a very good motel - I will stay there again next time I'm in the area.
