Close to what we needed.

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Cons: The breakfast was not very appitizing.
Location: It was close to downtown and easy to get on and off the bridge.
The water in the shower was not good. There is a caution sign in the shower but water water temperature fluctuated horribly from scalding hot to freezing cold. I would worry about a child or elderly person in this situation.

check in

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: It was quite and clean
Cons: a lot. better staff.
I had a very unfriendly person at check in on sept 7. she was unset with me for wanting a ground floor because a had a 81 year old who is handicap and could not do steps. Also, you ad said that you would have view of the bridge which it was not. At breakfast no one was around to fill the coffee machine. sorry but I like my coffee in the morning. All around I would sum it up that the staff had a no care attitude. We will not be back.

Pros: Clean, pleasant & helpful staff.
Location: Nothing much to do nearby unless you drive into town.
Thought the hotel would be close to the center of town, but it's about a mile into town. It's nice, but on a "hotel row" type street on the outskirts of town.

Saggy bed

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: no
Cons: Better beds, morning swimming and more friendly staff.
We expected an economy motel but we didn't expect a sagging bed. The indoor pool looked nice but since it wasn't open until 11:00AM (THE SAME TIME AS CHECK-OUT) we could not use it. I have stayed in Mackinaw many times and know there are much better accommodations for the money.

Pros: Close to all the sights.
Location: Just a half mile from the ferry and downtown Mackinac City.
No frills accommodations. Close to all the sights - for some within walking distance, for others just a short drive. Very thin walls so can hear most of your neighbors. We spent two nights next to a crying baby or folks were standing outside our room talking.

Breakfast and staff were excellent. Simming pool was cold and there was no hot tub

Stayed one night, room was spotless and inviting.

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: The grounds were clean, the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and close to town.
Cons: nothing I can think of.
Location: Perfect for staying overnight before going to the Island, or drive thru the Tunnel of the trees. A must see is the lighthouses in the area.
Wonderful experience, staff was very pleasant, breakfast was good and will stay here again.

Courteous Front Desk Service

Posted Jun 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Had a very nice stay. Would of liked to soak in a whirl pool but had to settle for just a swimming pool. The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. Will stay again, but would like to have a larger size bed. The breakfast was ok.
