Nice Hotel

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.
Cons: Our stay was very short and the hotel met our needs.
The accommodations were nice, the staff was very friendly. The only small issue was that our room was next to the pool and we could hear people splashing and playing when we wanted to sleep. Once the staff closed the pool for the evening we had no issue and enjoyed a good night's rest.

Nice comfortable hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Although an older property, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect for our trip as we didn't spend a lot of time there. Continental breakfast was pretty standard fare. Not too many amenities, pool and hot tub (both were in need of cleaning) and offered rental ATV's and bicycles. We arrived well before the 3:00 pm check in time. And although the check in times were clearly stated, the woman manning the desk graciously allowed us to check in. Perfect for our trip. A big THANK YOU!

Nothing special about this place. A little over priced for what it is.

Not worth the price

Posted Aug 15, 2014
For the price I paid, the room was sub par. The cleaning ladies did a good job but the hotel is showing its age. The walls are thin, so you hear almost everything from other rooms and the bed is like sleeping on a board. Pay the extra money to stay on the island!

Not What I Expected For the Price

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff, the breakfast, and a lot to let my dogs play in.
Cons: The room needs renovation, which includes the bathroom. New carpet to get rid of the odor.
Location: The hotel was not far from the St Ignace ferry to Mackinaw Island, and it was close to several stores.
Overall, the experience at this hotel was okay. The hotel staff was good; they were friendly and helpful. There was a great spot in the back of the hotel (not sure of the owner of the property) to let my dogs run around. However, my room was not so great. My room was located in an adjacent building and it was dated. The room did not smell so nice and the beds were a bit too firm. For the price, I expected a better room.

Cons: Pool/hot tub conditions were not completely up to par.
Acceptable hotel to stay in. Very close to downtown St. Ignace and the Mackinac Bridge.

Good location, huge rooms

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: The size of the hotel room and location to downtown St. Ignace
Cons: A little updating would go a long way at this hotel, especially with the mattress.
Location: We were able to walk to downtown St. Ignace and jump on a ferry to Mackinac Island. It's right off of US-2, so it's close to everything in St. Ignace
We stayed there Friday and Saturday night to visit Mackinac Island. The room is a little dated, but makes up for it in the size of the hotel room. We had the king room, which included a hot tub and a small kitchen area with sink, microwave and mini fridge. Overall can't complain about the hotel, it was clean, hotel staff was nice and they provided a continental breakfast.

Nice hotel close to the bridge

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: price, location.
Cons: WiFi signal was very poor.
Location: Easy access to Mackinac bridge.
The hotel is easy to find. The room decor is a bit dated, but the room was clean and surprisingly quiet. Wifi signal was very bad--the phone kept cycling back onto cell network.
