Nice clean but very small roomPosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Excellent tri-lingual staff who went out of their way to be helpful.. Excellent breakfast facility
Cons: While rooms were recently renovated and comfortable but small the hallways and stairwells were being renovated which was inconvenient and limiting
Location: Good location near old town, train station and Trams
Very small room but well appointed ..Excellent service- staff most helpful and great breakfast. That said hallway and stairwells were being renovated so difficult to get to room and unable to use the stairs. Would encourage Expedia to provide a warning to travelers when facilities are being renovated

decent hotel, great service, pretty good locationPosted May 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Upon arriving, we were greeted by 2 very pleasant young ladies. At various times during our short weekend stay, I had questions or talked with the reception. Every single one of them was pleasant, spoken at least decent English (I'm American and only speak a few languages - French is not one of them.) The internet was horribly slow and parking here is not easy. Parking is not included. Breakfast is not included. I do not like that at 11:07 there was someone calling me to tell me that checkout was 11am and that I'm late. I've been traveling for work (usually more than 125 nights/year in hotels) and the only time I hear stories of people being chased out exactly at checkout time is cheap motels. I wish I got the names of the front deck staff who were so helpful though all of them were - some more than others. It's a short walk to the city area so the location was pretty good.

Very good location, good breakfast.Posted May 4, 2014
Cons: God value, can't request more for money paid.
Location: The best location for day trips.
1.Close to Central train Station, 5 min walk maximum. 2.Close to "Petite France", very close. A lot of restaurants. The good ones. 3.Close to Cathedral. Take Grand Rue and walk 10 mins straight forward.

Comfortable hotel conveniently locatedPosted Feb 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at this hotel many times and find it to be very comfortable and conveniently located, close to both the station and the centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Well-equipped bathroom with good bath/shower combination. Lovely breakfast room and lounge.

Good value hotel near train stationPosted Jan 9, 2014
Pros: Excellent breakfast buffet, lovely regional décor, modern facilities, pleasant staff, convenient location near train station.
Cons: There was only one computer available for guest use and it was inoperable during our stay so we couldn't check email or use the internet.
Location: Just a couple of blocks from the train station and tram stop. Also within walking distance of La Petite France, the cathedral and other sights.
We stayed here while visiting friends in Strasbourg where I had studied in college.

good location and servicePosted Jan 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good location (<10 minutes walk to the center of Old Town) and excellent, excellent breakfast buffet. The room was nice and modern (a plus in my book) although a bit small (typical for hotels in France). The staff was nice and spoke English (a plus for my husband who does not speak French). They helped us find a restaurant for Christmas day. Minus one star because I was looking forward to using the "fitness center" but it only consisted of a weight bench, 1 exercise bike, and a rowing machine. If there was an elliptical or a treadmill I would have been happy.
