Good cheap base hotel for city centrePosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: The helpful staff were always on hand for our needs.
Cons: Tea coffee making facitilities together with a fridge.
Location: The Jardin Botanique was 5 mins away; the city maybe a slow, flat 20 mins walk.
Ideal for city short break that was within a 10 min walk to the tram/bus. Also convenient for several good restaurants. It would have been a better place to stay if our room had tea and coffee making facitilities, glasses and a fridge. The staff were very helpful, only too willing to answer our questions.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet and stunning areaPosted May 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Had a very pleasant stay in this hotel, it was ideally located in a nice area near to the centre. The hotel itself was very clean and the service was impeccable. I would recommend this hotel as good value for money and a great place to stay in strasbourg

The hotel was conveniently located - about a 15 min walk to CoE and 15 min to downtown. It was basic, but clean. Would stay there again for business.

nice clean hotel close to the city centrePosted Jan 1, 2014
Pros: quiet area, 5 minute walk to the tram, close to all sights
Cons: access to the internet was on and off
Location: The tram can take you anywhere in the city. You can walk around all the sights.
It was a nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. To get there you can take the train from the airport, get off at Gare Central, from there take the C tram and get off at Observatoire and from there it is a 5 minute walk to the hotel . The whole trip is about half an hour and costs around 4 euros a person. If you take a taxi it will cost you around 50 euros... For your getting around with the tram in the city it's cheaper to purchase the 6 euro "trio" ticket which covers the travelling of two to three people for 24 hours.

We chose this hotel to be close to our son at university. There are a few good restaurants and a market close by and it was an easy walk to the tram station which connects to everything. Really enjoyed the boutique atmosphere.

Lovely hotel, quiet location, a little out of townPosted Sep 25, 2013
Cons: Nothing they could improve, but distance from the centre & accessibility to the cheaper rooms may be an issue for some people.
Location: Not much around but once you're used to it, easy access to the centre & everything there
Very well presented hotel inside & out. It's a little out of the tourist centre of Strasbourg, but I took a taxi there in the first instance & it only cost around €12 from the station- without bags it's a 10 min walk to the tram which gets you everywhere, or I'm told 20 min walk to the centre. Nice quiet neighbourhood. I got a cheap deal so had an odd shaped room out the back & down 2 flights of stairs- the room was quite newly decorated, but small & odd shaped- but enough space for the essentials, very quiet & clean. Might be a problem for people with mobility issues in these cheaper rooms though- check whether they have lift access when booking. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and responsive.

Ok with easy access to city centrePosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Easy access to center Very big and clean room Nice staff (except one at the breakfast) with good English Free WiFi
Cons: Room seems to lack ventilation, so it was a bit smelly every time we got in. Vent didn't seem to work well in toilets either. All tv channels in
Location: City centre is close, so it's the main attraction. The staff will help you find out the closest tram station.
We were a family with one small child and we're put in the Privilege room. We got a nice rate from expedia and we extended our stay for by one additional night
