Nothing fancy, but none the worse for that.

Pros: Good range of food (though nothing hot) for breakfast with exceptional range of jams and really fresh bread and croissants.
Cons: Some of the hotel looks a little worn – notably the stairs and the paint on the walls of the corridors and dining room was chipped and damaged.
Location: Look to your right as you lave the station and the hotel is on the far right over the square, virtually under the huge "Credit Agricole" sign.
Independent hotel very close to the station. Not for you if you want chocolates on the pillow and the bed turned down, but very nice not to stay in a chain and good value, especially given the location. I've stayed there twice and my rooms (1st & 2nd floor) were quiet even though one overlooked the the square. My rooms were clean and decent with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine with a good shower. Desk space to work at and very good free WiFi.

Plain and unpretentious

Pros: Very quiet even though on the square. VERY convenient for the station.
Cons: The staircase could be redone
Location: To find it turn right out of the station and look across the square to the end building on the right with CREDIT AGRICOLE on the roof.

Not for you if you want chocolates on the pillow and the bed turned down, but very nice not to stay in a chain and good value, especially given the location. My room overlooked the square (with a little balcony) but had good soundproofing so that there was virtually no noise. Some of the hotel looks a little worn – notably the stairs, but my room (210) was clean and decent with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine with a good shower. Desk space to work at and very good WiFi. Good range of food (though nothing hot) for breakfast with exceptional range of jams and really fresh bread and croissants. The coffee was above average. I only saw a few staff, but those were pleasant.

This hotel was in a very convenient location, staff was very courteous and were easy to communicate with, room was clean and spacious (especially compared to those we came from in Paris) though the décor was dated. Comfortable room and was easy to walk to most places from hotel, otherwise directly across the street from train station.

A convenient overnight stop

Pros: location to station.
Cons: room a bit crowded for three
Location: Excellent for station
The hotel was basic. We stayed just one night and three of us shared a room. It was a bit crowded, but had the basic requisites, and was suitably priced. Hotel is in great location for Gare Centrale, directly across the road. We ate breakfast also and that was very good value for an extra €10. It suited our needs, as were travelled on after breakfast.
