My Strasbourg visitPosted Sep 20, 2012
Pros: The location
Cons: Ambience at breakfast
Location: A couple of minutes walk from station and about 5 minutes walk to old town or shopping.
As a women travelling on my own I thought the location was very good as close to station and easy walk to sights. I felt safe in the area. It was better tham I thought it would be for the money. There are resturants below but it didn't worry me. I think some music or even T V at breakfast might have helped the ambience and made people relax a little. The staff were very helpful. I would go back again

Worst beds in EuropePosted Oct 19, 2011 on Hotels.com
Great location near the train station. Clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. But most uncomfortable bed ever! No mattress, hard foam bed low to floor. Ugh

Not impressedPosted Feb 10, 2009 on Hotels.com
Reception talked amongst themselves for about 3 minutes before greeting me standing there. The male receptionist was a bit too smug and eager to point out what I may and may not do.

Very dirty, service poor, very minimal, overall would not recommend. Only plus is that it's within walking distance to the center of town and the train station (but it's a tiny town).
