An independent hotel very close to the station.
Not for you if you want chocolates on the pillow and the bed turned down, but very nice not to stay in a chain and good value, especially given the location.
My room (104) was clean and decent with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was fine with a good shower. It overlooked the back of the hotel so that there was virtually no noise. Desk space to work at and very good free WiFi.
Some of the hotel looks a little worn – there was a large stain on the corridor carpet
Good range of food (though nothing hot) for breakfast with exceptional range of jams and really fresh bread and croissants. The coffee was above average and they'll make you an espresso (free) if you ask.
I only saw a few staff, but those were pleasant.
There is no restaurant in the hotel, but lots of places to eat at nearby.

The hotel was cheap and cheerful. The room was clean, though could have done with painting. The rooms were hot, which is great in December when it is freezing outside. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water for a hot bath.
Great location, opposite the station and in December there is a Christmas Market in the square.
Did not have breakfast so cannot comment. There are a number of places to get breakfast within two minutes.
This hotel is not luxurious but if you need a comfy room at an economical price, I would recommend this hotel.

Cheap and cheerful. I stayed at this hotel for many years before it closed and was re-opened by the current owners. Hotel is a cheap and reasonable option if you are in Strasbourg for a few days, and particularly when the European Parliament meets for its monthly session, finding a room anywhere that isn't very expensive can be a challenge. The rooms are apartment style, and there are hot drink and sweet vending machines in reception. There are only two things you need to be aware of: 1) The cleaning service is at the end of your stay, not daily 2) Some of the rooms back on to the railway line, which can make restful sleep tricky if your room is there. Staff were extremely helpful.
