"Great value warm and friendly environment"
We needed an overnight stop to visit Badminton Horse Trials (yes they were all guilty, heard it all before!) with our terrier. There was no reticence at all about him being in our room, the bar or restaurant as long as he was well behaved. The dinner menu was exceptional, as was dinner, but I would advise anyone planning to stay, to book in for dinner when you book your room if you wan to eat there. The restaurant was very busy. We will be back if we need to stay in that area again.

"TO THE MANOR BORN"
Forget watching "Upstairs Downstairs" on TV just experience staying at one of the great B&B's in the U.K. You will be impressed! The owner Lynda has introduced a touch of Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen to the interior design, it works! A twelve bedroom masterpiece surrounded by four acres of beautiful gardens offering spectacular views. The service at breakfast is run well by the team lead by Agata. Peter on reception is warm and friendly with his great public school accent minus snobbery. Painswick is a delightful unspoiled village in the Cotswold.
