“Very good value”

This hotel is not fancy and somewhat outdated, but the room was very large, very clean and comfortable. The location is good too with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. We go to a lot of ND football games and we plan to make this our usual hotel. I would recommend it!

“Good hotel for the price”

This hotel is not fancy and a pretty outdated, but the room was extremely large and very clean. You can park right next to your room which makes unloading the car easy. There are lots of restaurants and shopping centers a few blocks down the street. The family that runs the hotel is very friendly and accomodating. My husband and I always stay here after ND games. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially families on a budget.

“Very Quiet”

Right next to the indiana state border. Park your car right out front. They have a pool! If you cant find it call them, they can guide you in. Nice little place. Reminds me of the motels I stayed in as a kid. They had a store about 300 feet away that sold smokes cheaper than michigan, and a super walmart right down the road with awesome bread. The McDonalds was much better than we have at home. Friendly people there too.

“Not impressed”

The room was spacious. The power went out during the night and the water did not work when we woke up in the morning, although both issues were resolved in a timely manner. When the water did come on, it was well water with an egg smell. yuck.

“Just An OK Stay”

I was disappointed in the physical condition of the room. The linoleum floor in the bathroom was chipped and worn, and we decided not to shower due to a dark brown stain in the tub caused by the water which at some point had been dripping from the faucet. The dust was thick in the baseboard heating units. Apparently the door to the room does not shut tight to the outside, because we saw a fairly large insect crawl in. The hotel itself could use a good sprucing up. The good news is that the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room itself was spacious, very warm, and well-provided with a couch, coffee table, and desk. TV reception was a bit quirky. The staff provided an adjoining room for our guest, and was helpful in directing us toward outside services we required to continue our trip. Our room was one in which families with dogs are allowed to stay, and was a lot better than others we have encountered over the years.

“Very basic accommodation”

The rooms are very old, hard to control the temperature, bed not flat. This is a very basic accommodation. We paid additional for a third guest (child) but did not have enough towels for all of us.
