The hotel was a bit dated with a small room . Not was i was hoping for. The pool was very nice . Some staff were very nice and others were totally not wanting to do anything for you . Quite a ways out of the centre so required getting bus into town .

The hotel is in a very good and quiet location close to the center and is very well balanced in its value for money conditions. I certainly can recommend it for a short trip.

Business hotel not for tourist
The pro is really the pool and sauna, though the wellness rooms are not hot enough. More like a business hotel especially if you have a car but if you like us prefer to walk it’s up a steep hill.

Thank you for your commentary. We see ourselves as a hotel for all guests and do not discriminate between tourists and business travellers. For a tourist hotel you should have chosen the black forest or Heidelberg, not a hotel downtown in the city of Stuttgart.

For starters, the picture in the ad is deceiving. The hotel looks nothing like it and is actually situated in a bland 60s apartment building. The rooms are small, dark and a bit on the smelly side. Opt out of the breakfast buffet, the nearest gas station will have better variety. The staff on the other hand was excellent.

What makes us even more happy is that we hav such an excellent stuff and you have found your petrol station where you will be greeted with a friendly welcome, have your desired coffee brought to your table, be able to choose from half a dozen hot dishes and other regional products and be able to serve yourself as often as you like. If the petrol station still has tablecloths and luxury beds from Treca de Paris I would want to move in there. Please give us the address so it is not just a secret tip. Good location, good food, nice sauna & steam bath. Nice courtyard for breakfast or conversation. Knowledgeable staff speaking good English. The WiFi and cell service were unreliable, which caused some challenges of communication in making arrangements. My friend resorted to calling me in my room via the reception desk landline.

Home away from home.
The staff and hotel are very pleasant and we arrived late but was still able to grab food which was good quality in the restaurant area. Unfortunately I reserved but my husband paid in the morning, so two payments were taken. But this was resolved & I would still stay here again.

We stayed at Hotel Azenberg for three nights. The staff were very friendly at check in and had treats ready for our kids, which is always a hit. The hotel itself is set back in a densely populated area, so the streets are narrow and lined with cars. Luckily, there was visible signage guiding us to the hotel. Parking - the parking lot is tiny and quickly fills up. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, the fee is 7 Euro per night. We got a spot in the lot the first night but not the second two nights, so we were told by the staff to park on a different street then walk back to the hotel. The street parking comes with the risk of ticketing from 6 am - 8 pm. So, if you are renting a car, this may not be your best choice. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. There was a little play area outside for the kids and an indoor pool as well. They had robes, pool towels and slippers for all of us waiting in our room, along with chocolates and water, all complimentary. We had plenty of space and the hotel felt very cozy. The bar was open 24/7 and they had a full breakfast for an additional fee.

Great location, small rooms, comfortable, with all amenities, lovely gardens and patio, the only thing we could have asked for extra was a fan to combat the extreme heat, and wifi in the rooms.

Excellent stay
Although this hotel is slightly out of town, it is located in a beautiful, leafy residential area. We really enjoyed the 15 minute walk into the city, although there were public transport options if required. The staff were extremely helpful at all times. It was nice to have the option of a pool, although it was a little cold! The breakfast was essential, as there is nowhere else near, but it was good value and there was plenty of choice. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Hidden Hotel in the University area.
Fun hotel in the university area. Not too far from everything down in Schillerplatz. Museum is about four blocks away etc. Rooms are clean (but on the smaller side). Breakfast was great and the wait staff were attentive and helpful.

It was a very pleasant experience and the hotel has both a swimming pool and a fitness centre. We enjoyed the room and the staff. It was a bit of a hike to the downtown core but the exercise was good and we looked forward to it.

Great choice for the weary traveler.
Very friendly and helpful staff, and a neat decor inside the hotel. Parking didn't seem to be an issue and rooms were cozy. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee in the morning as well as the beautiful terrace out behind the second floor. Great choice for a reasonable price.

The hotel is hard to find and if you have big suitcases and don't want to get a taxi it makes it hard work. Staff were very friendly. Room was nice but very small once you had 2 big suitcases in. No aircon !! Small pool and the fitness room is a joke.

We had a quadruple room - two double beds. We had requested a double and two singles, but since one person did not come at the last minute, this was okay. The second bed was in an alcove near the windows with two chairs and a table. Gummi bear packages were left for us each night. The breakfast buffet was expensive, but had a large variety and was very good. The breakfast room was lovely. We arrived late at night and hungry. When we asked about getting something to eat, we were directed to the breakfast room where we were given a menu and were able to order a snack that was then charged to our room. The staff gave us driving directions.

Upscale and a little stiff
Hotel is in an upscale residential area. Not really convenient to town or the Christmas Market unless you like to walk several blocks to the bus stop. Staff was nice but not terribly accommodating. Rather Germania in its application of rules.
