“Great Hotel in Stuttgart!!!”

This was by far one of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our trip to Europe. Rooms are very large, very comfortable beds and pillows, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent!!! The staff was very courteous and spoke english. This is a great hotel for business meetings or travel.

“Maritim Stuttgart”

The Maritim Stuttgart is a fantastic place to stay. This is probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Perfect location in the middle of Stuttgart, great service and very good value, especially after booking with Expedia.com. We will certainly come back once we are visiting Stuttgart again.

“Wonderful accommodations”

When we were in Germany, it was very hot, so what a pleasure to check into the Maritim in Stuttgart! It had comfortable beds and was cool and had a very good restaurant at the hotel. Very clean and everyone there spoke English and was most helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“One of the best hotels I've stayed in”

This hotel is excellent in every aspect.First time that we had used a hotel in the Maritim group. Room was large, spotlessly clean, modern decor, and quiet. Bathroom looked brand new! Service was excellent, and the breakfast had a wide choice and variety of the finest food. All the public rooms were large and had a classy air about them. Good location, about 15 mins walk to the town centre and main shopping areas. I would definitely stay there again, and when going to other towns, will certainly look to book in a Maritim hotel if the town has one.

“Excellent service and location!”

My 16 months old and I traveled alone. The hotel was very accomodating and kid-friendly, which made the stay very pleasant. When my daughter got sick overnight, housekeeping was there within 5 minutes to clean up the mess. They went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.

“Amazing Hotel”

The hotel bar was incredible, a throwback to years gone by with drinks made from scratch - no mixes. Pricey but worth it! The customer service made us feel like we were visiting royalty. Even though breakfast is not included as in most European hotels, and it is somewhat expensive, it was well done and worth the price.

“Good Hotel worth a stay.”

Overall a good hotel not to far from the City centre, the room and hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff were (almost all) very friendly and helpful. TV is limited for english only three channels, all news and any movies were 10 euro minimum which in todays market place was very pricey, compared to some hotels that stream movies free. But only had one grumpy waiter in the outside patio/bar area, the rest where helpful and freindly. The City has plenty to see whith good bars and restaurants. and good train connections to the surrounding country.

“Small but great location...”

Very happy with the accomidations of the hotel. Hotel has everything one would need onsite...except for an iron in the room. Great location and close to music halls and venues. Good hotel for the price.

“Bring an Iron, and if you need to work the lobby is a nice place”

The Maritim Hotel has all the amenities a business traveler would want, gym, pool, sauna, excellent restaurnat and bar and large rooms. However, some of the basics you may come to expect such as ironing board and iron are not supplied. Although they boast wireless internet access, you have to sit in the lobby in order to access it. Overall I rate this hotel a 4 out of 5.

“Very nice hotel in the center of STR, but expensive.”

Of the 4 hotels I know of in the downtown area of Stuttgart, Maritim is far and away the best. It is clean, modern, and has all the usual amenities (except an iron), a pretty good hot breakfast buffet, and friendly english speaking staff. It is off the trolley line, ~3 blocks from the subway and main street (Konigstrasse), has an active taxi stand and parking garage. It is adjacent to a small upscale shopping complex. They recently added a spa and massage service. This does come at a price however, and so is more geared to business travelers than regular tourists. Definitely recommended.
