Friendly staff and well placed hotel for city.Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Position and staff.
Cons: Drink facilities, cheaper breakfast.
Location: It is walking distance from the Stadtbibliotek U Bahn station. At the moment there is a lot of building work going on between the hotel and the city.
Stayed here over a long weekend. The hotel is clean and fairly modern. We didn't take breakfast as it seemed a little expensive at 18 Euros per person. Unfortunately we didn't find out about the ground floor sun terrace and outdoor seating until too late. Room cleaning was good, would have liked more tea facilities i.e. more milk and tea bags, ideally the room would have had a fridge to keep beer and milk in. Otherwise very good and would stay again.

Mercure StuttgartPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Location, quiet, clean.
Cons: Single beds are very narrow!
Location: Close to tram lines. Proximity to the new (under construction) mall will be great. Walking distance to the Hauptbahnhof is good.
Good location - will be great when the new mall is complete. Staff were exceptional.

Great hotel. Staff was very polite and pleasant. Hotel had great parking on site at a cost of only 12 euros per day. The room was small, but extremely clean and tidy. The bathroom and shower were also both very clean. The only complaint is that for a room with two beds, the beds were extremely tiny. You wouldn't want more than one person in either bed. Other than that, the hotel was great. I would definitely stay again.

City centre hotel (well almost)!Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Decent breakfast, small but pleasant bar, rooms fine
Location: A trek uphill from the Hauptbanhof. Extensive development around the station made finding the location difficult, signs around the station unhelpful
Two night-stay, no complaints about hotel - did what it said in the brochure

Contstruction was a challengePosted Mar 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel was fantastic. The only problem was walking to shopping area. You must navigate around the mall construction next door, then through the main station construction. It can be confusing, use your smartphones! Another hint: Use the train stop to get under the roads and come out the other side.

Middle of building site. Not a great time to visitPosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort at good price. When building finished will be good position.
Cons: Cheaper breakfast, warmer, welcoming lobby, lower bar prices.
Location: Close to city centre, library, station..but hampered by building works
Comfortable room, extremely expensive bar, cold and stark lounge, building cloaked in scaffold. Returned having stayed previously but if I had been aware of hotel so engaged in building would have gone elsewhere.mrooms comfortable, clean. Chose to have breakfast out as very expensive. Wanted coffee and croissant but not at 17 €

Close to U-BahnPosted Oct 8, 2013
Nice hotel, parking wasn't cheap but it never is in Stuttgart. Very convenient to the metro system.

Not in the city center, but accesiblePosted Aug 27, 2013
The hotel staff was nice enough, not really focused on going the extra mile ( no phone calls to confirm train times etc.) It's about two blocks from a ubahn station and one stop to the main station. There is no safe, tes, or coffee service in the room. The restaurant staff was friendly. If you like to be walking distance to shops and restaurants the esso gas station across the street is the only option .

Ok at the right pricePosted Aug 5, 2013
Location: Busy road, close to Stuttgart 21 building site but convenient for U bahn and city centre,
The hotel is ok if you get a good deal on price. It was clean. The beds were comfortable but small singles. The rooms are really quite small and the clothes storage is limited. It would be comfortable enough for a single person on a short trip but was a little snug for a couple. The room overlooked a petrol station and busy road but there was no noise or smell so the soundpoofing was very effective. There is no minibar or fridge in the room and the towels were paper thin and hopeless to dry with. However, we were only paying around £50 per night so you get what you pay for. I would never consider paying full rack rates for this hotel as there is much better in the area at those prices. It is notionally a 4 star but this is a good demonstration of how star ratings are based on facilities and not levels of comfort or space.
