Weekend Away

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Location: Mercedes Benz museum is the best 8 Euros I've spent in a long time. Well worth a visit.
Staff were excellent with a great sense of humour. Rooms were clean and facilities were very good. Hotel bar prices were high but there are plenty of alternatives nearby.

Very nice

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Location of hotel was across the street from the main train station but the rooms were very quiet. Hotel was within walking distance of shopping, great dining and tourist area. Rooms were large, clean and the bathrooms were very nice. The only minor complaint was the free internet, very slow. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Christian recommended some great restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

good for business trip

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Indoors pool on top floor
Cons: Nespresso machine is a nice touch, but just 3 taster capsules is a bit limiting.
Location: central location opposite railway station (construction ongoing), very close to pedestrianised shopping street.
Professional staff for easy check-in/out. Nice room (upgraded to small suite) with spacious bathroom, large flatscreen TV that can be turned for watching from bed or sitting area. Double windows work well to keep out the street noise from heavy traffic passing in front of the hotel.

Great hotel, pposite main station

Posted Jul 22, 2014
As we we checked in the lady gave us a free room upgrade to a junior suite... The room was great: had a room for luggage, a lounge area, huge bathroom with bath tub and one of the most comfiest beds. . Hotel had really good facilities, gym, pool, spa, steam room and sauna! Also, there was a couple of bars and a restaurant. Good location to walk to the town square and travel to see the museums. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel in very central location

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: I particularly liked the location and the spa
Cons: My room was only ready a little bit after 3 pm.
Location: The hotel is right in front of the main train station and is very close to the pedestrian area where there are many shoops and restaurants.
As a member of the Expedia Elite group, I was given an upgrade. The room was on the same floor as the spa which includes a nice indoor pool. The spa very enjoyable and opened early in the morning.

Good, centrally located hotel opposite station.

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Location and availability of secure parking for high vehicles, and close vicinity to the Block house (our favourite German restaurant!)
Cons: Tea and coffee making facility in the room, iron in room, and fix the maintenance problems quickly.
Location: Sky Beach on top of the car park / shopping mall next to the hotel. Top level of car park has been converted into a beach with deckchairs and beds!
Nice hotel, great location right opposite the main train station. Hotel clean and presented well. We had a problem with the TV coming on full blast through the night, and kept increasing its volume by itself! Maintenance couldn't fix it, so switched it off at the wall, but then didn't replace it the following day so no TV for 2 days. It's a shame there's no tea and coffee in the room, and it didn't look like you could order just that, only breakfast at about €26 each. Nice views on the one side of the hotel, we could see a massive field of grapevines - not what you expect in a city centre! Staff pleasant, can't fault it other than the maintenance issue not being resolved quickly. Secure parking underground about 2 minute walk away, we took a large van so this was one of our concerns, and not too expensive either.

Stay in stuttgart

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: The size of the rooms .
Location: Good location close to the shopping area, main station and also the old town .
Well we arrived at the hotel by around 1315 hrs .The normal check in at the hotel is 1500 hrs and they stuck to this time. I am sure the hotel could have given the room immediately instead of making people wait. It doesnot take more than one hour for housekeeping to makeup a room( that is if they are efficient enough ) Atleast in India the hotels would have obliged . Whoever had arrived before 1500 hrs was made to sit in the lobby and wait for their room to be alloted. This was very disappointing . There is a bar in the lobby and everyone sitting in the lobby waiting for their rooms eventually ended up having a drink at the bar ( hence some extra earning for the hotel ) I had to remind the staff at the Front Desk at 1515 hrs that we were still waiting for our rooms. He then appologised and provided us our room. Our room had free WIFI included, however this service was sooo slow that we had to buy the paid WIFI. Breakfast was not included in the room cost . The staff from the reception called us to ask what time we would like to come down for Breakfast as there might not be space if we arrived without booking a table. That was odd as if the hotel had a large group inhouse they should have organised the group to sit in a designated area therefore not causing any inconvenience to the FIT guests. The staff had a hint of arrogance

5-star!

Posted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Friendly and accommodating staff. We arrived in the morning knowing that the check-in time is somewhere between 2p or 3p. They kept our luggage so we can go ahead and take the city tour. When we returned in the afternoon, our suitcases are already in our room. The receptionist even walked us to the elevator while informing us of hotel amenities available. Hotel is across from the main station, which is very convenient for our itinerary as we planned on taking the train to go to nearby cities. The hotel has most, if not all, of the amenities one can expect in a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended.

Tired and expensive

Posted May 30, 2014
Location: The location s excellent which is why we chose it, but never again.
The staff are lovely and helpful people. The towels and robes are threadbare. The air conditioning is too hot and we could not adjust it. They gave us a pedestal fan. The plastic under the sheet makes you sweat resulting in an uncomfortable sleep. Glass bathroom is too small and impractical, you walk through the shower into the toilet. The included Wi-Fi was so slow you could walk to the event before it loaded.
