A pleasant hotel

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: ease of access from airport
Cons: Brighter lighting in the bedroom.
Location: N/A I was in transit.
Hotel was 1 minute walk from the airport terminal. checkin was easy staff where excellent my room was almost perfect, I need better lighting to read. The only complaint I had was at breakfast, The dining room was packed with a couple of coach loads of tourists, It was so noisy and nowhere to sit, not a relaxing start to my business day. That said, I will definitely stay again.

Convenient airport hotel & hidden gem restaurant

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Great food.
Cons: Would be nice to have a bit more control of the room temperatures, was on the warm side for me.
Was on a layover on the way to Istanbul, wanted something within walking distance to the airport at a reasonable price. This was it! Rooms were very large, and very quiet given proximity to airport. It was a bit of a hot day, and like most of the accomdations in Europe, they struggle a bit getting the rooms cool, but not too bad. The real joy was the restaurant... I didn't want fast food, was tired of the usual fare having been traveling for 7 days, so gave it a try and it was quality well above what I expected from an airport hotel. Sat out on the patio, great service, very good food and sheltered from the streets and noise by a bit of a hedgerow. Great spot, highly recommend.

Location, Location, Location

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Did it totally for convenience....get in, no hassle to get to hotel, leave luggage and see city, leisurely morning ....rent car at airport and done.
Cons: wider beds include breakfast
Location: I did...there's a McDonalds in the distance.
This is immediately outside and across the steet from the Messe end of the airport but it is hidden behind the much pricier Movenpick Hotel. It is filled with people attending conventions. The rooms are quiet despite the airport and the large amount of construction nearby. Clean. Modern basic Ikei stylish. The beds are average hardness but the twins are European narrow. If you are very large or move around at night and are unused to this width it may affect your sleep. I'm average and was a bit anxious every time I turned over. So if you are doing an overnighter or only have a 1/2 day in Stuttgart or so it's a good choice as the S-bahn in the airport station gets you into town quickly. With coffee tea maker in room and plenty to purchase at airport ...or have breakfast there, we passed on the hotels' buffett breakfast

Cheaper than Movenpick, right next door

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room had areas that were not very clean. Gym was tiny so I ran outside as the weather was nice. With bad weather the gym would be a major issue for me
Location: Messe, Airport, S-Bahn. Also, if you go through the Bosch Parkhaus next to the hotel, and come out the other side, there are great running paths.
I have stayed at the Movenpick for years, as before this place was a Wyndham it was a disaster. After Wyndham took it over the room are all remodeled. Simple and efficient. Good deal if you need to stay near the airport/Messe.

Dear Funk, thank you for your email and the time you took to write the comment. When we took over the hotel we renovated all rooms, lobby, bar and restaurant and parts of the function rooms. We are pleased that you liked the new design and overall the hotel under Wyndham. Thank you for mentioning the great location if you need to catch a flight (0,2 km to the airport) or would like to visit the fair (0,1 km to the fairground). We hope that we can welcome you soon again at our hotel. Best regards Carola Steinle Reservations Manager

Nice hotel close to the airport

Posted Jan 15, 2014
The hotel is a very comfortable place to stay if you are planning to be close to the airport. Its location provides also good access to the freeway and to public transportation. Parking costs are for an airport location reasonable. Especially surprising was the excellent quality of the hotel restaurant. While the rooms were a bit on the small side, they were still very functional.

Close to the airport

If you are flying out of Stuttgart then this is the place to stay. It is only about 200 yards from the front door of the airport. The rooms were nice and quiet.
