Very well positioned hotel.Posted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Proximity to city centre, the staff, availability of car parking and computers.
Cons: I think they should re-establish availability of their restaurant to hotel residents and not just conference participants.
Location: Close to everything in town. Close to bus leading to Palic which has a lake approx. 7 Km from Subotica. Palic is a resort
This is the third time I stayed at this hotel and enjoyed my stay every time. The staff are very friendly, the location is excellent in the middle of town close to the Subotica railway station and the old town hall, etc etc. Also walking distance to the excellent "Boss" restaurant at the back of the Reichle Palace which was our home for about 15 years. Wi Fi is available in the lobby (2 computers) so next time will leave my lap top at home ! Car parking and a good breakfast are available. Can certainly recommend the hotel to everybody.

Modern hotel in very central locationPosted May 10, 2012
Contemporary hotel about 10 minutes walk from the train station or town hall. Good breakfast with good coffee in rooftop breakfast room, with small outdoor area for nice weather or taking photos. Guests have free use of commercial gym adjacent to hotel; I used it twice and it was satisfactory. Reception desk staff was very helpful with answers to my tourist and cultural questions. I had dinner at the top-floor restaurant and the food was very good, at a reasonable price for white-tablecloth restaurant. If you stay here, be sure to print out the map from the web before you go. The street used to be Korvina, then they changed it to Engelsova, then they changed it back. Some maps still show Engelsova, and I wasted a lot of time trying to find a street that isn't on the map (they haven't gotten around to revising the maps). Also, the hotel's on the back corner of a shopping mall, and the address is the mall's front entrance. If I were staying again, I'd ask for a room facing the street, not the mall, for a nicer view and quieter (during mall hours).

For anyone wanting to be near the city center or conducting business nearby, the Hotel Galleria is great for its location. The facility is very clean and the staff is superb.

Can't wait to go backPosted Jun 29, 2011
Peter Sh. - Melbourne, Australia I recently spent a few nights at the hotel. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Hotel Galleria - my room was of a very good size, tastefully furnished with excellent bathroom facilities, the buffet breakfasts were very extensive and of good quality. The reception staff were outstanding - they were able to communicate in English, Hungarian and Serbian languages. They, particularly Berta, were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the Subotica railway station and the centre of town, all accessible by a short pleasant walk. Wireless internet is available to all rooms. I plan to return to the hotel later this year and would like to strongly recommend it to eveybody, and also a visit to Subotica and 7 km away resort of Palic.
