I wish I could give it no stars. When we arrived outside of the building, I did not want to go in. Property is located downtown right across from memorial park where all the homeless drug addicts are. From the outside the curtains looked yellow and the windows were old. I made attempts to cancel however the room was non refundable so against my better judgment we stayed the night.
After checking into our room , we noticed how musty and old the building and room was. We could not find a decent temperature on the shower and the water drained slowly. I felt dirty coming out of the shower.
The room is filled with poor fix ups seen throughout the room. Water damage, bad paint and repair jobs.
Blankets and pillows are old and outdated.
We asked for an extra blanket due to the room being cold. Was told one would come up in an half hour but no one ever came.
As we were leaving to check out we overheard two cleaning lady’s talking. One advised that a guest had puked all over the shower curtain and bathroom.
My husband used the side stair well to exit the building to smoke and he told me that it was dirty..
From his last smoke at night to his morning smoke there was drug paraphernalia. Someone was smoking pills in the hallway on tin foil - she attached pictures.
When we confronted the owner, Vena acted surprised that there was drug use happening in the hotel and told us she would look at the cameras. We paid 216 for one night and wanted at least a partial refund back but told u
