Affordable, ok hotel

Very reasonably priced. Very friendly helpful staff. Musty smell in the room required several hours of air conditioning to eliminate.

It was good for the price.

Pros: The price was reasonable ($76.00)
Cons: The hotel was acceptable for the price.
Location: It was central to most things.
We had a comfortable stay and good buffet breakfast was included.

Pros: The staff was okay
Cons: a lot, stat by updating your web page so people know they don't have sliding doors
I booked this hotel because it has sliding glass doors. However I was informed that when I got there that the hotel has all of the doors sealed. This is not mentioned on your webite.

Howard Johnson Hotel

Pros: Easy access to room by side entrance, free wifi, free breakfast in the morning and spacious room.
Cons: Update bathroom, carpets cleaned (steamed clean), bathroom mirror cleaned (no spotted toothpaste marks) and kleenex box holder wiped.
Location: Shop, touristic attractions, airport, etc...
I had a good experience at this hotel. The hotel does need updates in the rooms and hallways since it is a bit on the dated side.

Good location in downtown Sudbury

Pros: The bed and the breakfast were excellent.
Cons: We could not make the shower work. Something needs to be done.
Location: The location is close to downtown Sudbury with easy access to main arteries to take you to the big box shopping areas.
Check in was efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was difficult to work, or did not work. We did not force it because of the written warning about being financially responsible for any damage! Perhaps because we are seniors we saw that as a threat. Other than that, the stay was just fine. The bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent as was the staff in the restaurant.

Very good for the price

I had an overnight stay with my husband and 10 year old daughter. We came in late after attending my son's orientation in Laurentian University. However, my son stayed the night in the university campus. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. She was happy to see us since she was already wondering why we have not checked in yet. The room was small but nice, clean and comfortable. There was no fridge though. My daughter was happy with the free WIFI that she was able to use on her tablet. We liked that there was a breakfast buffet. Food choices were limited but good enough for a filling breakfast. Overall our experience was very good for the price. Would definitely come back again.

Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast for cheap.

Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room including the bathroom, free internet both wired and wireless. Pet-friendly as well.
Cons: The in-room televisions are old tube TVs, no kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, etc.)
We (two adults and a small dog) spent a night here during a cross-country move, and were pleasantly surprised by the service and rooms. While it is by no means a luxury hotel, it surpassed my expectations regarding cleanliness and staff. Both WiFi and wired internet are available, and the bathroom and beds were notably clean. For our stay, even though no pet-designated rooms were available; because it wasn't noted by Expedia; the staff happily placed us in another room for the night without any difficulty. In the morning we received an excellent, full breakfast and had no issues getting our deposit returned before hitting the road. Definitely recommended if you need an affordable, clean place to stay overnight.
