“A great place to stay”
I found this hotel when all the other rooms were booked and I was so glad I did. The owners were great - I had a peaceful nights sleep - took a wonderful walk before going into work and had a very relaxing evening. Will stay again.
“Very charming B&B on a former horse farm.”
Staying here was such an unexpected pleasure. The building is a large old house with six rooms upstairs and a shared bathrooom. No problem with sharing the "john". A few things were a bit funky but that was part of the charm. Host and hostess very sincere, welcoming people. They use to breed horses there until they got the B&B going. They still have two stallions, two dogs, flocks of chickens, geese and ducks. For breakfast my h toast was made with eggs from their hens. One cavaet. Sudbury is not a town. It is a crossroad. The nearest restaurant is a 10 minute drive. Lovely country.
“Sudbury's Secret Hideaway”
The owners of this B & B are great, and if you love animals, this place is for you! The rooms are clean and "homey," and the grounds take you back in time. The people are really nice, and they serve a homemade breakfast. I loved being around the horses, dogs, cats, free-range chickens, geese, and ducks.
“Relaxing at the Inn on the Horse Farm”
Historic Inn is a hidden treasure to relax in. The Inn's landscaping folds in on itself. Once you enter the Inn property you only see the farm. The Inn itself is a historic building and furnished in a 200 year old tradition. It is well maintained and filled with history. The Inn keepers: a couple are welcoming and warm. Serving a to order breakfast with a large choice in teas, but for me steaming hot coffee ready at my early rising. My first morning I took coffee on the stone floor overlooking the pond, horses and to my surprise four wild turkeys. My second morning the on-core was ten wild turkeys. Twelve wild turkeys call the farm home along with horses, geese, two dogs and an assortment of squirrels and chipmonks. I didn't see any turkeys on my final day, but I again enjoyed the view of the farm and my coffee on the slate deck. Just a beautiful view. The Inn on the Horse farm was incredibly relaxing and inspiring for me. I am looking forward to staying there again. Just a wonderful retreat.
“Nobody in Sudbury has heard of this place, but it is amazing!”
This is a fabulous place to stay, the hostess is very kind and cooks an excellent omlette. The rooms are warm and cozy, and the property is very impressive; obviously with a rich and colorful history. Highly recommended.
“My stay at the inn on the horse farm.”
Wonderful getaway we loved the quiet enviroment. The hostess was very friendly and helpful during are stay.
“Will go back for a weekend”
Very nice people, quiet room, pleasantly "non-hotel" atmosphere. If you must be in Boston for business, take enough time in the morning.
“Pleasant Stay at Quaint B7B”
Arabian Horse is a quaint B&B that will offer a clean room and good service. Those expecting to look out at a farm or to be met with luxury will be disappointed. Go in with modest expectations and you will be greeted with a pleasant stay in a comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. I stayed for business as something different than the usual and am glad I did.
“Absolutely charming; will definitely go back.”
Beautiful room and decor; very comfortable amenities; attention to details makes it very special; amazing surroundings. Great hosts. Perfect for a last-minute escape. Our dog stayed with us in a pen!
“some good things & some not so good”
We stayed in this B&B years ago and loved it.. The good things: It is a lovely looking place in a lovely setting, the Innkeepers very welcoming and helpful. It is quiet. We were thrilled to discover a washer/dryer in our room and a small fridge, all of which we needed right away. Two sinks in the bathroom plus a wet bar. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Full home-cooked breakfasts. A large jacuzzi tub plus shower stall. WiFi internet access. Horses out back. The tub and sinks/shower are clean. The not so good: The rooms were cluttered with knick-knacks and plants leaving little space for our things. The entire hotel is dusty, the rugs appeared to be rarely vacuumed. The lint bag for the dryer was stuffed full, there were socks on the floor & towels in the dryer. No place to hang wet towels. Be prepared for ravenous mosquitoes when taking the nature walk. We think the problem is the economic times. The inkeepers must not only manage the farm, but must clean the hotel and it is a very large place. Our sympathies are with them because they are fine hosts. In our opinion the positives outweigh the negatives for a unique experience.
