Suffolk Stay

Posted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: The staff treated us well.
Cons: Make certain that everything is in proper working order.
All was ok until I tried to take a bath. The non-slip matting in tub was loose and particles stuck to my skin. The box spring of one bed was worn down at the head and your body was at an incline.

Will not stay here again

Posted Feb 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We've stayed here before, but it seems to have gone downhill fast. Took a cold shower because the water never got hot in the shower (though the sink had hot water). No blanket on the bed, just sheet & bed cover. My husband felt so creeped out by the room that he slept in his clothes. Very noticeable odd smell in room.

Days Inn Suffolk needs a makeover

Posted May 10, 2012
Pros: Easy to find
Cons: Run-down state of the place generally. My room didn't get made up after the first night
Location: OK
Run by Indians, smell of curry in the Reception. Reception often not manned, sign up frequently stating "back in 10 minutes". Overhead bed lights didn't work. Coffee maker provided, but no coffee or condiments provided. Room not made up following my first night's stay. Free continental style breakfast included, was poor.

Days Inn Suffolk-o.k. for one night

Posted Aug 5, 2011 on Hotels.com
On the positive side, this hotel is conveniently located to HWY 58 in Suffolk and a shopping center. There were no bugs and the a.c., fridge, and t.v. all worked, and the bathroom was clean. On the down side, the wallpaper was peeling in the room and there were some spots on the towels. The carpet was so dingy I didn't want to walk on it with my bare feet and the bedspread looked like it had been around for 10 years. I got what I paid for, but what not want to stay here for more than a night.
