Slight hiccup on arrival. We booked 2 rooms for four people. On arrival were advised that 1 couple was booked to stay in pub but other couple had to stay down the road in owners property. We were not advised prior to arrival therefore were not happy to do this. But with a bit of juggling and help from Ken the owner we were all able to stay in pub together. Ken and Ginny were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

The owner was very helpful and did everything she could to make our stay an enjoyable one. The bed was orthopedic and very comfortable. It was a shame that the room wasn't en-suite but there's only two rooms so it's not a problem sharing. Breakfast was delicious!

The location is a couple of miles outside Southwold and is a good starting location for trips out.
We stayed in room 1 and couldn't find fault with either the Size or condition.
We had 2 evening meals in pub and found them to be very good.
The breakfast experience felt strange having to all sit at the same table we were lucky that the other people staying were all ok.

Stayed for just the one night, a Saturday, as working locally over the weekend. Having read the previous customer comments, I was slightly worried what I would find, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Manager was very polite and efficient, the room, although small, was perfectly adequate for the one night and came complete with a large TV and nice en-suite. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and ladybird free! The breakfast was fantastic. I chose Eggs Benedict which was very tasty and fresh.
I struggle with some of the other reviewers expectations of The Grange. You get what you pay for and I can only speak as I find - which was it was great and does exactly what it says on the can. I will return again next year...
