Great for pets.Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: The pet area
Cons: carpet, painting,
Location: plenty of places to eat.
The only thing clean about the room was the bed, and no bed bugs. The ceiling was spotted and paint was peeling, the carpet was pulling from the wall, there were spots on the carpet everywhere. The only updates I saw was the bedding and the vanity top. Major concern it looked like mattresses had been replaced but they put the old ones right in the back of the hotel leaned up against a storage container. They were disgusting. My pets loved it, there was ample room for them to go out and do their business.

What you see is not always what you getPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
When I realized this Quality Inn was right at the intersection of two major routes in Suffolk, I was afraid that the noise of traffic would be disturbing. It was not in the slightest. I cannot say the same for the two dogs in the room next door, but at least they were quiet during sleeping hours! It is nice to know there is a PET FRIENDLY motel in a decent part of town. And speaking of TOWN, Suffolk is now HUGE. This part of Suffolk (near the original "city" was where we needed to be, and discriminating it from the other Quality Inns in "Suffolk" (nearer to Portsmouth, Chespeake, and Norfolk) was difficult. Had I not been from the area, I would not have known where this motel was located. The room was clean though a bit musty at first. By the time we returned from supper, the room was quite pleasant smelling. The staff was very pleasant and the visit would have been ideal if the horrible RAIN hadn't kept us out of the pool in the afternoon! But the weather can hardly be blamed on Quality Inn, now can it?
