Comfortable Hotel, but OlderPosted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed in one of the rooms with a jacuzzi tub for two. It was a larger room in the hotel and the jacuzzi was nice. This is an aging hotel, though. The room needed a good coat of paint and the bathroom was pretty industrial-looking. Our first time in the jacuzzi there wasn't enough hot water to fill the tub, which was sad. We waited about 15 minutes to fill the rest of it.The hotel does come with free breakfast, which is nice, but I wouldn't say it's gourmet. If you're looking for a gourmet meal, I would go off-site but if not then the restaurant on-site might be fine. The views from the hotel are really pretty.

Wonderful StayPosted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Nancy the Inn Keeper is a hoot and makes you feel at home, not to mention she is a fenominal cook.

Not what was stated!Posted Dec 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I were very unhappy! First, we waited fifteen minutes to be checked in! Then, we were staying in the junior suite and it was stated that there would be a refrigerator and microwave but when we got to our room there was none, and then we showed the inn keeper the email showing we would have one, they said they would try to track one down, and never got back to us. We spent over $40 in food (champagne included) for our night and it was all ruined. They said we could eat dinner there but would cost min $25 a person! That was not stated anywhere! The bed was comfortable, but everything else was run down, including the whirlpool that needed to be reset due to circuits blowing. Def not worth $180!! Would never go back or recommend and was very disappointed!Carrie

It was very nice.Posted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was very comfortable sleeping in the bed with a firm mattress. A few light bulbs were out and the bathtub drain was plugged.

Nice quirky New England Inn, close to the White Mountains for hiking or skiing.

Nice B&B.Posted Sep 29, 2013
Staff very helpful & friendly. Food excellent, they have a quality restaurant for dining w/wine cellar. Included breakfast was very good. 3rd floor room slants badly, room was too warm bathroom too small.

Never disappoints.Posted Sep 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Since our first visit, 5 years ago, the Inn has steadily improved the rooms decor and bathrooms. The cuisine has always been good, the chef cares about presentation, breakfast is a must. Staff are courteous and friendly. It's not olde world, but cozy and homely enough that conversation with fellow guests is expected. I opine one should n't over improve the Inn or one loses the feeling of history and the charm will fade.

Needs updating badlyPosted Sep 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
The stay was pleasant enough, and the location was gorgeous BUT we stayed in the annex which really needs updating, and as far as we could see, so does the main house. The restaurant is amazing both for breakfast and dinner--great food. The Inn is definitely not at all set up for the disabled.
