All staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. Our thanks to the hotel owner Haci Simsek who was personally on hand every morning to serve us breakfast. The hotel was kept to high standards. Also, the receptionist staff was very helpful and always available to assist with any queries. Highly recommended

The staff/owners went way out of their way for every single guest. What a fantastic place to stay if you’re in Istanbul. Even though I didn’t need any guidance, I watched the staff just bent over backwards to help everyone that was a guest, regardless of language barriers. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Probably the best place to stay in Sultanahmet
I stayed in a family suite from Dec 15 till 21, 2023. Right from day 1 till the end of the stay, the entire experience was superb. Every staff of the hotel including the owner was so helpful and ensured personal interaction daily. Every small matter was taken care of. For ex: The owner handed over his travel card to me for the local transport (TRAMs) for daily commuting and also helped to plan the itinerary. The location of this hotel is superb and just a few minute's walking distances from all the tourist attractions within this area. The breakfast spread was simply too good and the delicacies were mostly Turkish and very well presented and prepared. Turkish tea and coffee were a delight. The view of the bay from the room was breathtaking.

Just a couple of minutes away from the Blue Mosque. Very spacious room with sea views. Buffet breakfast changed everyday. The staff is friendly and efficient.

This is a very affordable, old style European hotel, located within walking distance to the main attractions of Istanbul's old city. It is almost invisible on its narrow street, but the interior is nicely appointed, and bathrooms modern. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and will help you with transportation, or directions to other parts of the city using the mass transit system, which can be accessed within a few blocks. American travelers may find the style of this hotel quaint--it's not a Holiday Inn, OK?, so don't expect one--but it felt luxurious to us, especially when we went to breakfast on the 4th floor, with its terrace that overlooks the opening of the Bosporus onto the Sea of Marmara. The included breakfast is an amazing array of baked goods, cheeses and olives, and other goodies, as well as eggs and breakfast meats. Staff will offer you an omelet, or to bring you Turkish coffee instead of the standard drip brew which was ready to serve as well. If I'm ever in Istanbul again, I will certainly be checking in with this place first--but don't delay, they have only 8 rooms at any given time.

Small boutique hotel close to the main commodities less than 5mn walk (Tramway station, restaurants and supermarket). The blue mosque and Hagia Sophia within 5mn walk as well. The owner is amazing, very helpful and would do what it takes to ensure his guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. If you like to support local and small businesses, the Muyan suite is the way to go.

Location: convenient to the 2 main mosque attractions , safe, away from main thoroughfare so it’s not noisy; also walkable to tram station (about 15min). Food: breakfast was generous and fresh; lots of local eateries with fair pricing. Service: warm and sincere; the owner, Mr Simsek, hosted us personally during breakfast and was ready to assist us navigate the area. Most thankful. Overall a fabulous boutique hotel.

We had the best room suite 301. Could see the coastline. Owner and staff went over the top to help us getting a taxi. Very important if you are travelling short distances. Breakfast was terrific. Great experience in a small suite hotel which is centrally located around major sites.

Nice stay
We had a lovely time staying at the hotel. The sea-view room was spacious, cozy and quiet. It is a family run hotel and our host and the staff were really thoughtful, personable and cared to keep guests happy, this hospitality alone made our stay a wonderful experience. Breakfast had variety of traditional Turkish salads, pastries, fruits, omelettes and everything tasted fresh and homemade.

The staff and owner are incredible. So polite and willing to help with anything you need. The owner knew our return flight was not till the night time and without us even asking he arranged a late checkout till 3pm so we could come and go from the room and use it’s facilities with no additional charge. That is personal service over and above. At breakfast, they knew we had to leave early each morning to mow our tours and every morning he made sure all 4 of us had a delicious sunny side eggs ready with pancakes. Always smiling and helping us. Even on our checkout day, there was a lady in reception checking in and she told us she checkout from another hotel because she wasn’t happy. We were sure to let her know that she was going to be very pleased that she came to Muyan suites. Thank you so much everyone for making our stay so enjoyable!

Muyan was worth every penny on our first night in Turkiye. Clean rooms, great location for food, shopping and mosques, and super friendly staff made for a great stay. We especially loved the upper floor breakfast with a view served by a super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Our 1st visit to Turkey. We had 3 adults and 2 kids. It’s a nice boutique hotel that is centrally located with most places at a walking distance. The owner Haci and his crew are amazing hosts. Most stores and restaurants around the area were open till 11pm or midnight. Haci was there every morning during breakfast service which ran from 8-1030am. The day time receptionist Hamza greeted us at checkin and guided us on how to navigate the area using a map. He also helped us with tours and shuttles. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting old city Istanbul.

Workers are very friendly and helpful. Our rooms faced a wall so not a great view. The breakfast area has a very nice view and breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety. In our room the remote controls didn't work, towels were too high for me to reach, glass tops on bed side tables are not mounted so beware if you have a toddler!

Istanbul exploring.
Four night stay exploring the city. Hotel is very well located and walkable to sights. Breakfast was good and lots of variety, totally enjoyed our morning brekkie. The rooms were very comfy, fridge and kettle, most appreciated and aircon worked well. Wifi worked well. The staff are all excellent and helpful. Look after your staff Mr boss they make your hotel what it is. Would happily return here again.

The people at this hotel are just so wonderful!
I can't say enough about the hospitality we were extened at the Muyan. Haci, Hamzah, and the whole staff went out of there way to assure our stay in Istanbul was wonderful. Excellent breakfast, a stunning view, and every detail--arranging for car service, helping with finding our way around, and just out and out kindness. These folks understand hospitality better than any place I stayed. There are just wonderful people
