"Kind Staff and very helpful, I will recommend it."
We were very pleased with this hotel overall. The staff has been very helpful. The day before our arrival, we have requested a crib for our one year old daughter and it was ready when we arrived. It's located near Istanbul's main attractions, Grand bazaar, the Blue Mosque, etc. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of choices. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

" Excellent quiet hotel close to tourist sights. "
Excellent! Very comfortable room. Restaurants and shopping within 3-4 blocks. Hotel staff extremely helpful. Hotel offered by email an airport pick up transfer service, which was inexpensive in a luxury van. Quiet location with a small snack shop/fruit market nearby. Very nice breakfast. Metro station about 3-4 blocks away. Major tourist sites within walking distance up to about a mile. Great location. Nice patio to sit out in front. Sheets and bed very comfortable. Wonderful! This hotel was exactly like the photos advertised.

Convenient location, very close to the Blue Mosque. Staff were helpful and our double bed was huge and comfortable. Air-con made for a pleasant stay. We were on the fourth floor - no lift, but a bit of exercise I guess! On the first morning we were woken up by some noisy guests in the stairwell, but otherwise it was fine - didn't really hear much from the streets.

Hotel Daphne is a nice small hotel in the historic Sultanahmet area. The room was little smaller than expected but appropriate for the price. The room was clean but what impressed me the most is the staff who were very helpful. I woke up late and checked out right at the time of the airport shuttle and one of the staff packed me food to eat on the shuttle!!!
One thing that I should mentioned is that the hotel is difficult to find and cabbies/locals do not know all hotels by name. So, write down the address and the phone number of the hotel before you leave as finding a wifi spot in that area is near impossible.
Overall, I would recommend it given its proximity to attractions and sultanahmet station.

We had a great time at Sphendon hotel in Istanbul,
our plane was delayed, we arrived by taxi close to midnight, but the welcome was fantastic.
The hotel is on several floors with no lift, there is the early morning prayer call from a nearby mosque minaret, but this is impossible to avoid in Istanbul where most streets have a mosque,
the morning buffet was mixed Western Turkish with lots of variety,
the street noice was minimal, it is a quiet back street but very close to various budget restaurants.
The staff, in particular Abdullah, were welcoming, friendly and always ready to make our stay pleasant.
Overall we were delighted with the hotel and our stay in Istanbul.

The Sultanahmet district is the centre of Old Istanbul, home to many of the city’s most famous attractions. The district is named after Sultan Ahmed I, who ordered the construction of the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque. Other attractions include the Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia), Topkapi Palace, Byzantine Hippodrome, and Basilica Cistern.
