Summerton hotels in Sumter, South Carolina

Recommended: The hotel is conveniently located near Interstate 95. The pool is small, but clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of two light bulbs in the bathroom was out, which made things a little dark. The staff offered to move us into another room, but it wasn't worth the hassle. I guess they don't check the rooms very often in the off-season. Also, the bathroom walls could use either a fresh coat of paint or a deep scrub. Not recommended: If you only need a bed for the night and don't want to spend a lot this is the place. Big problem is they don't turn on the hot water till 6 pm They have WiFi in lobby They do service a breakfast but it isn't much For dinner I recommend the Goat Island restrurant. about 6 miles on a back road down to lake Marrion. Ask at desk for directions. They have a deck over looking the lake and great food See all reviews for this hotel
