In all my years of traveling both personally and professionally, this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed with. Typically Country Inn and Suites is consistently reliable for its price point. There was no ability to fully cover the window behind the shears. Typically there is always something like a “blackout” shade that can be pulled so that the lights from the surrounding hotels are not shining through your window all night. And I had the extra special treat of being startled awake by flashing lights from several emergency vehicles at the hotel behind this one. I could never cool the room down well enough to be comfortable. The bathroom had cracked tile and a dirty toilet. The carpet in the hallways almost appeared to have some spots that I assume in an attempt to clean a stain just appeared as a bleach spill. In my two nights there, I only saw one employee. The area is nice and convenient but, never again! I will not even trust other Country Inn and Suites locations due to this experience.

When we entered our room there was roaches everywhere and wasn’t very clean! We showed the front desk assistant pictures of the roaches and he says he will talk to his manager and give us a refund but now the manager is not cooperating so we can’t get our money back!!! We will never book another stay at country inn and suites!!!

The room was very clean but the whole hotel is kind of old and you can see and smell it everywhere. The gym is not really a gym , it’s a room with three equipment but shouldn’t be called “gym”.

Upon arrival we checked in and immediately left for dinner and returned later in the evening to enjoy the room. We were greeted out tye elevator with wet paint signs everywhere, bleached stained carpeting and damaged walls. Our first room had a roach infestation and our second room on a separate floor did as well. It was nearly 11 pm in the evening with 3 kids, leaving the hotel was not an option. Upon check out we requested a manager, whom was not in yet for the day. We called 3 times following check out for a week and never received a return call. We even text their text line requesting a call, crickets!

Came up for a funeral. The clerk would not change payment methods that was used to hold the reservation which seemed to be a very simple process. My room was so musty the carpet was damp. I had to run the heat on high all night just to dry it out. Gym was okay however the water cooler was empty and no towels. The staff was nice and it was good to see that they were painting. All in all it was average.

At check in, staff charged a $50 fee to my card for “incidentals”. When I asked for an explanation they told me it was refundable after we checked out and they verified there was no damage. I’ve never been charged this fee at any other Country Inn and Suites. When we entered the room, the couch was ripped, there was ground in food in the carpet, the bathroom obviously had not been cleaned, mold around the rim of the sink, makeup on the counter. The AC was noisy, and shuts off when you sleep, because of a motion sensor. So the room would get hot, we’d wake up, wave at the sensor, and it would restart. Breakfast was very good, and staff were polite, but totally uncaring. The room was terrible. Expedia shouldn’t even list this hotel. At checkout, they explained the $50 fee would take 5 business days to be refunded. There is a construction crew staying here, and there is mud tracked everywhere. The same muddy foot prints were in the hallway the whole time we were there.

After checking in went to my room. When i got in room i found the refrigerator was not working and smelled bad, also thers was a lamp missing from beside bed,the desk light was broken. The TV did not work and desk chair was broken. Called front desk and they sent the maintence man. He did a great job getting everything changed and he made sure everything was working properly. The staff were all very good.

Clean, basic hotel room. The towel rack in the bathroom kept falling off of the wall and the shower curtain rod was also on its way down. The AC/ heat unit worked when it wanted to, but none of the lights lit up, so there was no way to tell what the actual temp was set at.

We arrived to our hotel and had to wait on towels for the bathroom. Later at night we realized we had no bath towels so I had to go to the lobby and request towels. This morning I killed 2 roaches in the room. One of which was in the bathroom. The breakfast was good. The hotel itself was nice but the rooms were a bit outdated and dirty.

$121 for a handicap room. That was not a handicap for AMPUTATED leg to get a shower. The room was nasty the flooring was dirty. I would not recommend this hotel and nor Would I stay in it again? And the only reason I stay in. It is because nowhere else to stay that night.

It was only a 20 minute drive from where I needed to be at less than half of hotels closer to my destination. It's easy to get in and out of and back onto I-26 when travelling to Charleston. The toilet in room 324 kept randomly flushing on its own all night. That's really my only complaint.

When we checked in our key was wrong. I went back down for the correct key and then we were in the wrong room. Back downstairs for the correct room. When we got into the correct room, we were greeted by a nasty armrest and torn sofa. The bathroom floor appeared dirty and the sink was separated from the countertop by at least an inch on one side. The bathroom door was striking the toilet seat so you had to maneuver to get in and out of the shower. The bedroom was very tight on one side of each bed and the bedframe came out so much it stuck into my leg when I tried to get in and out of the bed. There was obviously a lack of maintenance at this property.
