Holiday Inn Express Charleston - Summerville

I chose this hotel because of it's central location and it had reasonable rates. I stayed here as I was attending my sister's birthday party. The buffet was nice but most people and establishments do not understand what gluten free means. I usually have to tote some gluten free cereal or snacks wherever I go and this was no different. Only one of the two double beds was really comfortable. The hotel staff was very pleasant. The reception desk was attended by some very nice people. The only problem I experienced was when security acted a bit over the top when they would not connect someone calling me as the caller did not have my room number.

Pretty nice hotel. Nice location. Breakfast is great. Staffs are friendly. Will come back again.

mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable.I think the pet friendly is not so friendly to someone who has to listen to a dog barking all night. Will never stay at this hotel again.,

We have stayed here several times and were never disappointed.Their breakfasts are delicious!

My family and I stayed overnight as a weekend getaway. The hotel met our expectations as it pertains to friendly and courteous staff, convenience to restaurants, shoping, and entertainment. The hotel was clean and room accomodations were comfortable. In addition, the price was excellent and the morning breakfast bar was wonderful. My family and I will be staying at the hotel again if we are in the Summerville area.

Pleased with ease of registration. Reasonable rates. Great customer service. Good security measures in place.

everything was good, upscale, comfortable. we'd definitely stay there again on future visits to Summerville. the only negative was there was not a sunday paper available.... surprised me for such an upscale place.

I actually stayed at this hotel for a work related trip I had to make to Charleston. For my purposes, this hotel was close enough to the city to get my work done, yet less expensive than a lot of the hotel in the main part of Charleston. I think Summerville is sort of like a suburb for the Charleston area. There are plenty of restaurants for you to choose from in the area, as well as stores for you to do the inevitable incidental shopping that comes with traveling. Holiday Inn Express is one of my favorite hotel chains and this one was no disappointment. The hotel staff was extremely nice. And the continental breakfast was pretty good. My only minor complaint--one I readily admit the staff can do nothing about--is that this hotel is older, and unfortunately it does show its age a bit. But, I still walked away feeling that, compared to other hotels, this one was a pretty good deal.

This is the only hotel in which I have stayed that I found nothing to improve. Cleanliness, upkeep, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were excellent,
