“Worst beds ever!!!”
Won't stay here again. I'd rather pay Keystone Resort more money than stay in this place again. Somewhat convenient, but Keystone has closer free parking anyways. Have to cross a busy street to get to the lift area and at the end of the day walk back up a hill... after a whole day of skiing. Why do that???? Free parking at the base of Keystone! Free breakfast was very basic. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and pillows, of which there were only 2, were so thin you have to fold them in half. They don't try to make you comfortable here at all. I'll either stay at Keystone owned hotels or drive 15 minutes away to find a cheaper hotel. This place was not worth it.
“Hope you dont already have back problems”
The beds were absolutely UN-comfortable, hard to sleep on and the springs were so loose you swayed if you tried to move on them. Time tp pitch those and get some new ones. The decore was 1970's (or earlier) Seriously I was NOT impressed. We only saw 1 person, 1 time on our stay there! Creepy! The Fridge was unplugged. It took a long time to cool down room. The vents on the side walls coated with lint and down right dirty, nasty looking. The walls in the room and the wakks in the bath room had bad damaged areas needing repair but it was the water stains and mold that really was bothersome.
“Sleepless in Keystone”
Location convenient, manager quite friendly, maybe we are spoiled but the bed was hard and unbearable. If not for that and considering the price, I would recomend hotel to all my friends.
“You get what you pay for”
Nothing too new. Rooms where ok.
“Nice hotel, super close to Keystone :)”
We enjoyed our stay.
“Great Location and Comfortable Stay”
The Arapahoe Inn is a basic 2 star hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and was designed well (ex. they had a tiled space by the closet for wet boots/skis to go; had shampoo, soap, deodarant, & lotion for the dry weather; had a microwave, refrigerator, & dining table, etc). The breakfast was coffee and bagels and the front desk service was fine. The location was great as it is right on the main street in Keystone and is next door to a good Mexican restaurant (Dos Locos).
“great location”
We got there 5 hrs earlier than the check in time. Roman was kind enough to accommodate us right away, so 1 hr later we were on the slopes. It's a low budget hotel, but you have the basics. Clean room, clean towels, running water and beds :). Great location - right across the street from ski lift. Bagels, waffles and cream cheese for breakfast. Not a bad experience. Would go back anytime!
“Great Value”
The hotel was great. I was a little worried, because some review listed it as being ghetto, but it was actually very nice. I had the two room family suite. It had two queen beds, one pull out bed, two tvs, two separate bathrooms with a shower/bath and sink each, and a full kitchen with glass top stove, microwave, and refrigerator. The breakfast in the morning consisted of bread, bagels, and toaster waffles, and juices and coffee. It was good enough. The hotel also had wireless internet which worked reasonably well. The hotel was about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the bottom of the lift. We did easily in ski boots there and back. No need to take the shuttle Definitely a great value.
“Lunch Bag Let Down”
Over priced, under serviced and very tired. Beds were like rock slabs. Continental breakfast was underwhelming. Get rid of it and lower the price or improve the breakfast and breakfast service. Don't like standing in the lobby while I eat toast and drink coffee.
“Cheap digs”
The hotel was as expected - cheap, minimal, and not particularly comfortable. However, it was CLOSE to the slopes and that was of primary importance to my college-age sons. The room was no worse than their dorm rooms. It was a typical 2-bed room, with a small sink and bathroom. The beds were soft and the sheets were queen sized, but fit onto a double bed. The pillows were useless. The TV carried local over-the-air channels. The room itself was not very clean; and still had food behind the bed table that was left over from someone else. There was no housekeeping after the first (of four) days. I'm not sure why. The hotel provided a continental breakfast, which was nice - but everyone had to wait and wait on two broken-down toasters. There was a hot tub, but it was broken. There was plenty of parking - but the parking lot was very, very difficult to get into and leave because of ice that piled up at the entrance from the road. If you are there to ski, the room is cheap and warm and close. If you want more, then you should go somewhere with better (and pricier) rooms.
