Special Check-In Instructions

All guests must check in at the property management office before proceeding to accommodations.
The office is located in the Lakeshore Building on Keystone Lake and Ice Rink at 22138 US Hwy 6, Dillon, Colo., 80435. From Dillon Silverthorne Exit 205, take Hwy 6 toward Dillon, Keystone for about 6.5 miles. Go past Keystone Lodge to the next right (Decatur Hill Rd). Turn right onto Decatur Rd (staying left), then right and follow Decatur Rd through the condos until reaching the Lakeshore building on the left. Go to the front of the building. The office, a real estate and property management one, is located in LS2, two doors down from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Guests can park at the Keystone Lodge, go down the stairs, turn left, and follow the walkway to the office. For guests arriving after hours, the check-in packet will be in the brochure box next to the door.
Office hours are 9 AM - 5 PM daily.

The condominium resort offers a coffee shop/café. In addition to a full-service spa, Dakota/Springs Condominiums - River Run Village features an outdoor pool, a spa tub, and a sauna. For a surcharge, a roundtrip airport shuttle is available to guests. This Keystone condominium resort also offers ski storage, a picnic area, and a fireplace in the lobby.

“"Should have been Dakota, but moved us to Buffalo Lodge".”

We checked in late, so had to just pick up our key and that was fine. Although, they moved us to another building (Buffalo Lodge I think) that was further from the pool/hot tub. Our room was still nice and they said this was an "upgrade" compared to the other rooms, but seems to me they were all in the same complex and our old room would have been closer to the pool. The 1 bdrm was still very nice though, with vaulted ceilings and nice decor. Only complaint would be that you're limited to a queen size bed, that seemed to have a hole in the middle but after being so tired from the slopes I guess who cares. More importantly, it was quiet! We had concerns when we noticed a room full of children next door that checked in at the same time, but never really heard them. I prefer Breck over Keystone, but if we do go to Keystone to meet family, the village is always a nice place to stay.

Family-friendly activities

We go to Keystone because not everyone in the family can ski and the tubing is fun for everyone. They get to go up the gondola and experience being at the top of the mountain with you. Seems a little expensive at $27/hr, but considering the price of lift tickets, it's worth it. There is a lot to see and do around Keystone.

“Too noisy”

The room was very nice, but because it faced the parking lot I got woken up several times everynight by the snow clearing machinery.
