Great place to stay!

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Fireplace, community pool/hot tub, Proximity to Keystone resort
Cons: The remote control cover appeared as if it had been chewed on by a dog.
This is a great place to stay; although, the rate we paid was much lower than what is currently being advertised. I probably wouldn't have stayed here for $425 per night, but only because I can't afford it. The condo and decor were a little dated, but I didn't mind.

Nice Condo Quiet and comfortable

Posted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: The fireplace, the kitchen, and the fact it was quiet after a long day of skiing.
Cons: The Condo needs more blankets. And the check in instructions are not clear. You need to explain that there are no Condos called "Evergreen Condos"
The shuttle service to the mountain is great. We went skiing for 3 days and had a blast. Also went ice skating, it is a good value and fun. Employees at the resort were helpful and pleasant. Only negative was finding the Evergreen Condos, Evergreen is an area not a condo development. Instructions need to specify that you check in at Keystone Condo Office.

Call condo office before you leave

Posted Jan 31, 2014
Pros: At the "Mountain" condos in the Pines. Great location and shuttle bus each morning (close) to ski area. The appx $15 per day resort fees pays 4 this.
Cons: Warn guests, express check out comes with resort fees - pay in adv. Send housekeeping to condo - didn't happen 3 day stay!
Location: Location location. Nearby store. Mountain expensive BYOB/BYOF.
Address on US route 6 is not available on GPS. Anyway, turns out you have to go to the condo registration office. Apparently they handle most of the condos in the area. This registration office is fairly well marked and very close to the Keystone resort. I recommend you call before you go to be sure the registration office is aware of any special needs you might have. I sent an email via Expedia that was not read. The staff was courteous and took care of me and the fam the following day after one evening stay.

Condos By Keystone

Posted Jan 27, 2014
Pros: It was close to the mountain.
Cons: Gut it. Redecorate. Update the beds.
Location: Convenient location. Not much going on in terms of restaurants etc.
At some point it comes down to value for the money. When I booked the 2 bedroom condo for one night at a cost of $357.00, I assumed that the place would be sort of nice. Instead, I got a place that was probably purchased in the 1970s and had NEVER been updated or modernized in any way. It was, in a word, UGLY. The decor and furniture would look OK in a dorm-room or off-campus flop house. The beds were uncomfortable. I was traveling with an important client and we had just stayed at The Ritz Carlton Club at Aspen Highlands for the 2 nights prior. Needless to say, we were both shocked when we checked into this dive. It was embarrassing for me as the host.

Difficult to get in

Posted Jan 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had condo in the Pines area but it was not made clear which registration office was nearest. We checked in at the village centre and the desk staff obviously was not familiar with our building. Accessing the accommodation was tricky as there are steps down to the entrance and then steps up to the lobby meaning it is not accessible on a wheelchair or with a carr for luggage. Once in the condo we were surprised to find it privately owned. All amenities as described, however the lounge area took sometime to warm up, and the cleanliness in the less obvious areas was lacking.

outdated, inconvenient & extra $$$ for cleaning

Posted Dec 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
I felt like I had been transported back to 1972 with the old, outdated accommodations. This condo is a LONG way from the slopes and everything else. If you don't have a rental car you'll need to take three (3) different buses/shuttles to get to the ski lift, plus walking several hundred yards in between bus/shuttle #2 and #3 (which was a pain with ski boots and poles, etc.). To top it off, you have to pay for a cleaning service if you want the room cleaned! This place was WAY over priced!
