Nice hotel close to the slopes.

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Great price for a roomy suite.
Cons: Microwaves in the rooms. Parking was a hassle. My son need to park across the street.
Location: Short walk to the slopes. Good pizza place next door.
All you need for a family ski trip. The suite was very comfortable. Nice happy hour with our dog at our side.

Quick Weekend Ski/Board Getaway

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: It was convenient that the hotel had a shuttle stop right out the front door. Made traveling to the ski/board area pretty convenient.
Cons: The facility feels dated. The rates are not in line with the quality of bedding, decor, linens, etc. I understand that it was busy season, but.....
Location: Good food, good skiing all around!
I stayed at the Inn over the New Year Weekend. It was pretty crowded because of the Holiday. Staff could not offer enough pillows or blankets due to the crowd at the time. They also could not provide a roll-a-way but the expedia website said that this was an option. At the hotel they said it was a fire hazard for the particular type of room we booked. The included breakfast was ok, but the lady who was there each morning was AWESOME-a ray of sunshine, pleasant, friendly, happy to help, happy to be doing her job. Didn't think to get her name but really impressed with her great demeanor.

Nice view, clean - but needs additional staff!

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, Friendly Staff, Proximity to Mountian House Base area
Cons: More staff in dining area
Location: Walking distance to lifts at Mountain House, short shuttle ride to River Run and also Keystone Lodge area and activity center
Initial impressions of the hotel- clean and comfy with a very nice and polite staff. Drain in bathroom was mostly clogged and stopper in bathtub didn't hold water very well, but besides that, the room was comfortable. This was the disappointing part...at every breakfast or dinner that we had at the hotel, they were extremely slow and were always out of several items. Whether the dining area was crowded or not- we got 'the kitchen is extremely backed up' reason every day. At breakfast they were out of spoons, forks, cups, milk, sausage links, etc. Eventually they re-stocked but took some time. This happened on 3 different mornings though! To be fair - we went during the Christmas holidays, but if you know this is a busy time- increase staff on those days! Dinner was better- not out of nearly as much (except most red wines) but service was again slow. Luckily the food was very good and the few staff present were very polite and apologetic. Front desk staff were always able to answer our questions and always cheery :). Not sure if we'd stay here again or give another hotel a try, but we did like how close it is to the Mountain House Base area. If you only have your own gear to carry, its not a bad hike...if you have kids, you might reconsider....or try to get our hands on one of the wagons to help haul your gear.

Hotel close to the slopes

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Friendly staff, reasonable cleanliness, a bit worn looking. They provided breakfast every morning, unfortunately it was the same thing every day with no variety, and it was hard for the staff to keep up with turnover of food and utensils. Overall a good stay.

Great location/value, don't expect luxury

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: Location, hot tubs, free breakfast, nice staff, pool table, complimentary ski lockers
Cons: Elevators need work. Both respond to same call, waiting is often 10+ minutes. Room not very clean nor comfortable. Shower head = glorified garden hose
Location: Right by the lifts, nice walking trails and solid restaurants. Snake River Saloon was good. Pizza around the corner also very tasty.
Stayed here for 3 nights prior to Christmas with my fiance. The hotel was extremely busy upon check in but the staff was helpful and friendly nonetheless. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3:30 and the front desk person said they would call when it was set. I thought this was a bit strange considering others were checking in but the guy explained that check in time is 4:00. The room was ready when they called us 15 minutes later so no problem there. We looked for parking in the meantime but to no avail. The complimentary valet is a nice option considering there is very little parking next to the building but when our friend joined us the second day, he had to pay $10 for parking.

Nice Hotel Minutes From Keystone and A-basin

Posted Dec 24, 2014
My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at the Keystone Inn and were overall very pleased. The location is great it is across the street from a nice bar and mini market for the essentials you forgot. It is just down the road from the Keystone spa and about 15 minutes from the Silverthorn Outlet Mall. Plus, there is a shuttle that takes you over to the Keystone slopes and Keystone village/gondolas. We snowboarded at A-Basin but it only took us 7 minutes to get there from the Inn as well. Great staff and a very nice restaurant/bar located in the lobby complete with a billiards table and comfy fireplace. The hot tubs were perfect there are 3 in total and 2 of them overlook the mountain giving a gorgeous view while relaxing after a long cold day. The only downfalls were that our shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere and there was no food room service but there is a pizza place called Pizza 101 that will deliver to the hotel. A great stay I highly recommend it.
