“Great for the money”
The room was spotless and looked updated. It had a mini-fridge and a microwave, a good addition for a longer stay. Breakfast is included and offers a variety of coffees, teas, muffins, cereal, bagels and creem cheese/jams. Didn't use the pool, but it's indoor and looked well kept.
“Good value reasonably close to Keystone and other ski resorts”
This hotel is a good value. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful and courteous. Compared to other ski town hotels, the noise level was fairly quiet (that is, there weren't a bunch of young adults partying into the night). Some rooms must allow smoking because we could smell cigarette smoke in the hallway. There were some signs of age and use, such as a bed that felt a bit old/soft/worn out, an old CRT television rather than a new LCD and floor joists under the shower/tub that were creaky and loud. But all these things were definitely not a big deal given the reasonable price of a night's stay.
“Perfect for the price”
Pool & Spa was closed, which bummed me out after a long of day of skiing when I wanted to use the hot tub. However, it is early season and I accept that they're trying to get it done prior to the busy ski season. They let me check in at 7am the day I was scheduled to arrive, which was a HUGE help as I had just driven in from Detroit, and was tired and needed a shower before hitting the slopes! Had to ask twice to get my sink unclogged, but the second time I asked they got to it immediately and handled it. Overall the hotel was exactly what I hoped for. A clean, basic hotel at a VERY inexpensive rate. Served me perfectly for my trip of a cheap, early season ski escape!
“Walking distance to Blue River and outlet shops”
Convenient for anglers--put on your waders and walk to Blue River. Also right next to I-70 so convenient for those who want a cheap place to stay with quick access to other locations near Silverthorne.
“Not a good place”
The front desk lady was rude, the beds were hard as a rock, the room was old. The price was not that great, the swimming pool was freezing cold and you would think having a indoor pool it would be heated. We asked for a wake up call and didn't even get that and when we left in the morning there was no one there to check us out.
“Needs Updating”
If you just need a place to sleep for one night, and move on in the morning, This place will suit your needs. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere. We choose it because it was the cheapest room in that area at the time we were traveling. So for the money its hard to complain too much.
“clean”
clean shower , clean sheets...good location....good coffee and rolls in the morning... great rate for one nite stay...cheap rate!
“needed to know about only stairs to second floor, fine otherwise”
Hotel is older but well maintained. Could be a little cleaner, but was pleasant, breakfast was very nice and location was great.
“Easy access, Reasonable, Nice stay for the price”
Comfy beds, mini fridge, microwave, hot tub, pool, breakfast, with a Mountain view what more could you ask for? Especially at such a low price.
“Affordable, clean, close to outlets”
Stay was OK, room was kinda old but clean. Silverthorne outlets 1 000 ft.
