Great Location. Amazing summer stay!

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: It's extremely nice, clean and in a perfect location.
Cons: The dinner menu & food in the Living Room could be improved.
Location: Breckenridge Fun Park
One Ski Hill Place is an extremely nice lodge. The rooms are impeccable- clean, comfortable and finely appointed (Bosche appliances, washer & dryer in the room ...). We stayed in a 1 bedroom and the use of space was extremely well thought out- plenty of room for our family of four. The location, in the summer, next to the Breck Fun Park is ideal. The staff was extremely friendly. We had an amazing trip - in fact, extended our stay, once we arrived.

Wonderful time!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
We visited the hotel the week of July 13th, 2014 and everything about our stay was outstanding. When it rained, we took a break from the Peak 8 adventure park (located right behind the hotel property) and went inside and took advantage of the on-site bowling alley. The indoor pool, sauna and steam room were perfect. Sad that I didn't visit the Spa or the workout facilities. They looked great! The entire staff were exceptional!

Pros: Love the spaciousness of suite, steam shower, comfy bed & pillows, glass water bottles w filtered H20, easy parking, lovely fireplace & lobby
Cons: Coffee & creamers weren't refilled (which we didn't realize until the am), no newspaper 2nd day, no esthetician available at the spa
Location: Fabulous location. Just a quick bike or car or gondola ride to town, but backs right to a fun park w all sorts of family activities.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the spaciousness of the suite - from the deck overlooking the Continental Divide, to the kitchen to the incredibly large bathroom. Loved the steam shower and uniquely shaped bathtub. The hotel staff was professional and friendly with special kudos to the bartender on Saturday night 7/12 (sorry, didn't get his name). Beautiful lobby w impressive fire place which would be so inviting in the winter after a day of skiing! Great pools & workout room. Overall, it was a wonderful visit!

Beautiful resort! Great location!

Kids loved the Peak 8 activities right outside the hotel. Gondola ride takes you to peak 7 and to down town. But stops running at 6pm and any lightning strike within 25 miles. Pools were very clean! Our room was a two bedroom with full kitchen and anything you would have needed to make meals. Nicest, cleanest resort I have visited in years!

Best way to end 2 week vacation

We roughed it at a few places on our trip and decided to splurge on a studio rental for the last two nights. Thought about buying a unit after our stay! Very nice layout for the size, great luxuries.

Second Class (Summertime) Guests

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The room was great! Gondola to town was awesome. Mountain activities were awesome.
Cons: Not treating summertime guests as second class guests. Better communication regarding closed/broken services.Closures impact family with children.
Location: Great town. Great location
Restaurant was unexpectedly closed during our stay. One elevator was broken during our stay. Bowling alley broke during our reserved time. Overall feeling that as we were just summertime guests, the resort really didn't care about us and it "is what it is".
