Second Class (Summertime) Guests

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: The room was great! Gondola to town was awesome. Mountain activities were awesome.
Cons: Not treating summertime guests as second class guests. Better communication regarding closed/broken services.Closures impact family with children.
Location: Great town. Great location
Restaurant was unexpectedly closed during our stay. One elevator was broken during our stay. Bowling alley broke during our reserved time. Overall feeling that as we were just summertime guests, the resort really didn't care about us and it "is what it is".

Pros: Two bathrooms and washer and dryer
Cons: No changes
Enjoyed the breck adventures behind the hotel. Also the close proximity to downtown.

Nice slope side resort

The oven and phone in our room didn't work but the staff was excellent on getting us accommodated. All staff was excellent and friendly especially the two house bartenders. Will definitely be back in the future.

Best place

Posted Jan 21, 2014
The only thing that they need to improve a lot is the Restaurant "Living Room", the place is always empty and they don't care about. It only have a poor buffet at lunch time and the service are really rude. But I am still going to this hotel, but no more to the restaurant. Thanks Isaac

Could not be better

Perfect ski-in/ski-out location, easy to go up to your room at lunch and warm up or just eat in the lodger cafeteria or the grill outside if you are looking for quick. Brock and Nate the Ski Valets were so nice and helpful, I cannot express how great they are and nice it is to just hand off your ski gear and they put it away for you at the end of the day. The rental place is next door and they even brought our boots and skis over to fit in our hotel the first morning. Everyone at One Ski Hill was so accommodating and welcoming throughout the entire stay. The location is not in town but the free shuttle service is so convenient especially for those who do not care to drive in the snow. We had a great time and cannot wait to return. After staying at One Ski Hill it would be hard to stay any place else.

Hotel Staff Unaccommodating

Posted Dec 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
As expected given the price paid, the resort is very clean and well maintained. Overall happy with the accommodations, but the staff is somewhat pretentious and unaccommodating. Due to flight complications we did not check in until 3 AM the first night, 12 hours after normal check in. The night staff was very friendly and helpful. When dealing with the day staff the following day in an attempt to get a late check out however, it was as though they didn't have time for my question. They were at approximately 50% occupancy and would not accommodate a later check out to allow for a full day of skiing.

Perfect weekend getaway

Situated right on the slopes of peak 8. A bit quiet...would like to be closer to town.
