newly remodeled rooms

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: The bathroom was lovely!
Location: We had a delicious dinner at Vinny's in Frisco.
We had a newly remodeled room which we thought was lovely. It was quiet and comfortable. We also loved to fresh from the oven cookies the concierge brought out in the late afternoon.

Comfy rooms.decent hot tub..close to highway

Overall good hotel for ski weekends in the area..I wish that hotels and restaurants in the area would warn people about drinking alcohol at altitutude..a group of people staying on our floor decided to cause a late night drunken ruckus angrily screaming yelling and banging on doors..luckily Frisco police was quick on the scene to tame these animals..just a suggestion to places in the area to warn people about drinking at altitude

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Cleanliness.
Location: Skiing
Decent hotel very close to Copper Mountain and Breckenridge. Mattress had a large stain on it, there were hairs in the sheets and there was a pair of yellow panties under the bed. For the price it was a decent stay, but not the nicest place in town.

Got Soundboard?

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: The staff were all super! Very knowledgeable about the local transportation connections and amenities.
Cons: Uh?
Location: Convenient location to Frisco station (free buses), freeway, grocery stores.
Staff was great, convenient location to Frisco station, freeway, grocery stores. I had heard that this property was recently re-furbed, if so, why didn't the contractor install insulation/ soundboard between the rooms. You can hear EVERYTHING in the adjoining rooms, which can lead to interrupted sleep, and a dangerous condition on the mountain if you are skiing. The spa is outside in a fenced in enclosure which is just slightly ghetto. The bathroom was in great shape, and was almost the same size as the bedroom.

This hotel was greatly over-rated on its webpage

Pros: Location was good for the ski areas
Cons: Better breakfast with more staff to take care of it
Location: Centrally located for several ski areas
The room was tiny and cramped and the so-called queen bed was smaller than that. The bed sheets were too short for the bed. The walls were so thin you could hear people talking in adjacent rooms. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre and on the weekend the very small breakfast room was so crowded we had breakfast out instead. The desk person had the dual role of looking after the breakfast room. Tables were not wiped and when someone spilled food on the floor it was just left there. The only plus is that the place had been recently refurbished as claimed.

External coverings of the linens were filthy

Posted Mar 2, 2014
Linen coverings were filthy. The room was so small furniture had to be stacked to accomidate it all. The walks are paper thin so every little noise comes through. There was a towel (dirty) left in the sink to absorb the noise and nuisance from the dripping faucet. Not a pleasant experience

Perfect for Ski Trip

We had a great stay at this hotel while skiing Vail. Eggs in the morning and clean rooms. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful with telling us about Frisco. Good price relative to other hotels.

Nice hotel within Driving Distance to the Mountain

Posted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: the cost of the hotel was a driving factor
Upon arriving found a friendly person to check me in. The room was clean, very warm (to warm for me but other would like it). the bed were comfortable and sufficient pillows, although they did not have feather pillow, a nice to have. All personnel involved with the inn were pleasant, friendly and helpful.
