“Beautiful riverside condo”

My husband our 3 kids were very comfortable. The condo had everything we needed - the rooms were big and comfortable. The location was perfect. Our condo backed upto the river, which was amazing. We were within walking distance to town.

“Short Walk to Peak 10”

You can walk to a ski lift in about 5 minutes, which is great. The room was pretty small but really cozy and nicely decorated. Make sure you don't try to check in at the property location but instead on Main St - 5 minute drive.

“Was ok for what we paid.”

Everything was fine, we knew we were getting a hotel style room. It did state on the internet that we would have a micro fridge and we did NOT have one. Plus we went a couple of nights without hot water, due to they only had a 50 gallon water tank for the whole complex side we were on. We had to take showers at odd times. Other than that it was a nice set up for what we paid.

“The Tannenbaum”

We stayed there on one of the last weeks of the Ski Season at Breckenridge and we caught a great deal on the rate. Normally the rate would be high and i don't think it is nice enough for the higher rate but for what we paid it was excellent. Location was within a 2-5 minute walk to the lift on Peak 9 and about a 5-7 minute walk to main street, which is the central location of shopping and eating in Breck. We parked when we got there and didn't move the vehicle one time until we left the mountain the last day to go home. Overall it was a good place to stay.

“Great location, extremely basic room”

This can be a great place to stay, but be sure that you understand what you're getting into. These "hotel style" rooms appear to be the secondary units that are attached to larger condos. Our room was small, with two queen beds, a TV, a fridge and microwave, and a table and chair that were shoved into a corner and unusable. There was an adjoining door to the next condo, under which we could see light and hear our neighbors. Additionally, there was no maid service, which was not clearly specified prior to arriving in our rooms. However, lest this review come off as too negative, the location is pretty darn fantastic. Our car didn't move between the night that we checked in and the day that we left. We could walk to both the lifts and Main Street in ten minutes or less. There is a hot tub/pool complex about five minutes from the units. It's shared with several other condo buildings, so the hot tubs can get a little crowded on a busy weekend, but we always found room. As far as no-frills, reasonably inexpensive (for Breckenridge), well located condos go, this was pretty good.

“perfect for the price”

this room was perfect for the price. no bells and whistles but a short five minute walk to a chair lift that is basically in your back yard.

“Note location”

The location as listed on the Expedia website is actually the location of the check-in office, NOT the location of the lodging. The lodging is located just across the river near the base of Peak 9 on Columbine Rd.

“Be prepared”

The town is very small but the front desk of the hotel is mile away. This may be a problem.

“Could have done better”

The Tannenbaum has condominium and hotel room accommodation. We booked a hotel room for 2 nights in August. I was surprised that there was no room cleaning, replacement of coffee or condiments, or emtying of bins during our stay. On checking out it was explained that only condominium type cleaning is carried out, twice a week. Could have done with a cup of coffee on our second day.

“Might Not Be Your Quiet Mountain Oasis”

I just stayed here for one night (12/29/11) before boarding Breck the next day. The room itself was decent for the price. Pretty clean except for some stained carpets. The huge problem is that this particular room (103B) was connected to a larger condo (103C) via a bedroom door with a deadbolt. The other family in the main condo was absolutely insane. I could still barely even catch a few hours of sleep after having more than a 6 pack over at the Breckenridge Brewery. The kids and parents were yelling until roughly 10PM and were up at it again at 6AM. Mind you I am also 24 years old and am pretty lenient about loud noises and partying - this one was impressive. Possibly even a domestic abuse? If it wasn't for that it would have been much better. Beware if you are thinking you are paying for a very quiet and private room. You may get stuck becoming far too acquainted with a crazy family. There may be a way to request an unconnected room. Not sure if that is possible, but ask anyway!
