Great location, Allows pets!

We searched for a place that allows pets...The Village does, AND it's in a great location.

Condos and rooms at the heart of Breckenridge.

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Good parking and friendly staff.
Cons: The bed I had was a little soft. No AC in the room, but the widows opened and we had a nice breeze
Location: It is right where Park and Main streets meet, so everything is close or a short shuttle ride away.
We decided to stay in Breckenridge at the last minute and were lucky to find this hotel. The staff bent over backward to accommodate us and the stay was very pleasant.

Enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay at the village hotel in Breckenridge. The location was perfect! Right off of Park and Main made going anywhere in town just an easy walk away. The staff was friendly but not very knowledgable. Upon checking in I was told that a complementary breakfast buffet was available at the pub on the first level of the hotel. This was incorrect. We entered the "buffet" (not much selection) and found that the eggs and potatoes were ice cold (would not bring us fresh ones either) and that it cost $13 per person. Besides that the experience was great! Free valet was a nice feature they offered, and I would recommend everything about the Village Hotel except for the breakfast.

Not so nice and not ski-in ski-out

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The valets were very nice and helpful.
The hotel is okay as it is now really starting to show its age. We were given the very small handicap room upon check-in after the front desk said, "oh, you used Expedia." So our room was tiny with weird proportions to accommodate a wheel chair, which is great, unless you are not in a wheel chair; neither of us are in a wheelchair. We never received the free water service, which was okay I guess as I went to the market and purchased a case off bottled water. The air-conditioner did not work about half the time and we were told that they were going to be replaced after ski season. This is not a ski-in ski-out location. Instead, it is a walk 500 meters to the lift in your ski boots. Not bad, but not as advertised. Not a terrible experience, but we will not be going back to the Village.

Great Location

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Location, well maintained
Location: Ski, Restaurants, Shopping...
The hotel best asset is its location: Right downtown and 100 yards from the slopes. The room was just above the pub, so a bit noisy on Friday night...The room had average amenities but was clean and well maintained.

Great location, but room quite small for price

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: The hot tub and pool, and location.
Cons: Breakfast could be included in the rate
Location: Awesome location, close to Main street and all the shops / restaurants, bus station, and couldn't be closer to the mountain and ski lift.
The hotel is super well located, close to restaurant, bus stop, and literally at the foot of the ski lift. But for the hefty price paid (I realize it was spring break, but still), the room was quite small overall and a little dated. The pool and hot tubs were great, and the staff at the Valet was really nice. I didn't realize that breakfast was not included in the room rate.

Not worth the money

Posted Mar 22, 2015 on Hotels
Wrong room=full size bed, electronics didn't work I had to fix, outdated, rude valet staff, unwanted charges, pub food was horrible... I will never stay here again... Awesome location probably why they can give sub par service and facility.
