“Village at Breckenridge good deal for shoulder season”
We are staying in a one-bedroom condo at the Village at Breckenridge and for the money, a little lower for shoulder season, it's very good. Just a five-minute walk through the underground parking lot to get to the fitness center, which has workout equipment in good working order. It also has a sauna, steam bath, indoor-outdoor pool with a garage-door barrier in between to swim under, and 5 hot tubs. Towels are provided. There are his and her locker rooms with shower gel and blow dryer. I know all this because at 10 degrees it was too cold for me to ski, so this was a lovely way to spend part of the day. The rest of the day I shopped for better cold-weather ski gear. Had lunch at Rasta Pasta -- I recommend the seafood pasta but beware that you will walk out with garlic all over your clothes and breath. One of the clothing store clerks volunteered that he could tell when customers ate at Rasta Pasta.
“T-Giving Breck 2011”
Location was great, staff was attentive, and 2BR Suite easily handled 4 people!
“OK”
Needs an update. Great location.
“Excellent Location!”
The hotel was clean and comfy. Staff was helpful. Incredibly easy to get to Main street. Several hot tubs to accomodate the large tourist group during Oktoberfest. AWESOME!
“Labor Day”
Very impressed and happy with our stay...we will most certainly go back.
“breckenridge awesome”
excellent location.......ski in ski out.......perfect and a great room to also save money because of the kitchen!!!!! Great spring break vacation
“Best Location, but tired facility”
The hotel was a great location and had great amenities. The ski rental place was downstairs in the hotel, and literally across the sidewalk from the ski school and Peak 9, which is the most kid friendly peak. The kitchen was perfect and a great option to the crazy, long waits of restaurants. But, the hotel was very tired. The beds were uncomfortable. But, for a ski vacation with kids, could not ask for better location.
“great location”
we loved the location but the Hotel needs to be renovated. It smelled nasty in the Hallway. Room was not clean at all. Cleaning lady was very lazy.
“March 3/5-3/10”
Arrived at midnight to The Village and was greeted and assisted quickly. The desk had the valet take care of our car. The studio condo was perfect for a couple and child. The condo was updated, clean and with mountain view. The things to consider were the temperature in the condo remained warm and easily fixed by cracking a window. The hot water took a while in the morning to get hot but did and was not a problem most days. The Village area in the evenings can be noisy but it was not much of a distraction. The facilities such as the pool and hot tubs were clean and maintained. For location in Breckenridge this is about as good as it gets. Right next to Main St., ski rental, lifts and restaurants. I would reccomend this property out of others I have stayed.
“BEST MARDI GRAS!!!”
This hotel was recommended by a friend who used to live in Breck. We went up for Mardi Gras break. The hotel is Amazing!! The staff is very informative about all local activities for families. The ski slope was out the back door of our building, with main street out the front which was great for skiing and shopping. The maid service was the best I have ever had at a resort. We park our rental car in a secure guest only enclosed garage under the hotel. This hotel is located in the perfect spot, there were several restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store. We were able to go skiing, sledding, ride the Gondola, and shop all within walking distance from our hotel. When we return to Breckenridge we WILL be staying at The Village.
