Looked like mostly business travelers therePosted Oct 3, 2012
Pros: Location, friendly manager
Cons: noisy a/c when it kicked on. room next to stairs - heard footsteps throughout the night.
Location: Outskirts of Sumter, SC on the main road to Columbia - it was convenient for us, and had many shops & restaurants nearby. Very friendly folks there.
It is an older property, but fairly well maintained... it was acceptable for the price.

Location: eaisly accessable
Considering the nightly rate was about half the rate of other hotels in the area, I am very satisfied with this establishment.

Good ole SumterPosted Jul 15, 2011
The hotel stay was quite alright. The pool was clean & my family enjoyed it. The fridge & microwave in the room worked well quite to my surprise. The only comp;aint I had was that the housekeepers needed 2 b a bit more thorough in their cleaning, especially the bathroom (i brung my own disinfected spray). I did a check for bed bugs, bugs, etc & nothing came about....well besides a cricket! lol...but it was nice for the price! the bed we had in the room was like a topsy turvy rocking from side 2 side as if the mattress were 2 big bt we managed & the kids slept n the other bed. Overall, I would stay again more than likely.
