The Property is no longer owned by OYO Hotels and no one notified Me I found out when I arrived at the property to check in to the Hotel! My reservation was cancelled the Hotel sold to Summerville Inn and no courtesy text, call or email to inform me about this cancellation or Sale of the hotel.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! The OYÓ hotel no longer exists as of July 2023 and in its place is a Sumter Palmetto Inn which is awful and not even close to what the pictures look like. Expedia confirmed directly with the property that is under new management and I was relocated elsewhere.

Do not book here will loose your $ they won’t refu
When you look at the room, they tell you that they will give you a real phone because they know the rooms are not up to standard. Once you leave the property, they will not refund anything. It’s a scam The worst, we lost our booking no refund when we refuse to check I. To a dirty full or roaches rooms. They sign a paper saying they would do a refund and never did. The condition of the rooms was really unspeakable! The worst we had ever seen! We lost our money. No refund for an untada le rooms

My room was nasty asked several times for them to clean it and they didn’t it had roaches someone else’s dirty underwear broken dresser drawers dirty sink n mirror just absolutely disgusting and I have pictures and videos

I’m very disappointed, the picture on the browser has nothing to do with reality, the place does not feel secure the room was filthy, towels were dirty, curtains are in really bad shape.I have photos to proof that it was nothing compared to what it looks like on the ad.
I would definitely not stay at any OYÓ hotel. I have pictures of the interior of the room and will be happy to share if this will help improve Expedia’s list of hotels and actual look of their rooms

I have stayed at OYO many times before and I was satisfied with everything. I know you get what you pay for and I’m not the picky type but this time was freaking HORRIBLE. I woke up at 4 in the morning to use the bathroom and roaches was coming from every angle in the room. Luckily I put all my bags in my car after my shower because if I didn’t I would’ve been bringing them home with me. Very Disappointed

This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been at. I didn’t end of staying and got charged for my reservation even though he told me he would refund me. None of the rooms were clean. It smelled. There was construction going on after 9 pm. There was furniture all over the sidewalks and hallways. Mattresses chairs dressers. It was the most astonishing site and did not feel safe there. I requested a refund and no questions were asked. This place should not be allowed to have guests. It is not safe or even complete as a hotel.

Nothing to like, dirty old buildings, front desk was like checking into a prison and when we got to our room, there was someone in it. We found another hotel to stay in that felt safe and was clean. Awful hotel, i cant believe it was even on your list. What can we do to get our money back, very dissappointed!

The only actual phone # that you can find is a "Reservations Only" line that I waited over 20 minutes to get through on to have them hang up on me when I tried to get to a CS representative to assist me
Do NOT book with this chain, and its enabler Hotels dot com
Im letting the conpany I work for and the over 1000 transporters know and I am advocating boycotting this lame business model and the service where their BS hotels books through
I am also contacting every other service that I see OYO listed on and let them know of my experience
Theres a real reason why they are rated so low and Im piling on with 0 stars to add

My stay at this hotel was not more than three hiyrs even though i had booked in advance to sray the whole weekend. Reason is that it was unclean , unsafe, no privacy, very noisy.
Its not a place for anyone who loves peace.

Room was in terrible condition, towels were stained, dead bugs on the floor, TV did not work, toilet seat was broken OFF. Stains on the comforter, pillow cases were stained. The atmosphere outside the hotel was filthy and unsafe.

When I arrived they said, they cancelled my booking for no reason. Then I had to pay to stay for a night, as I drove from NJ to SC. On top of that the room was far from clean, smelled like weed. The bathroom was disgusting and not clean or hygienic to use. There where bugs and roaches all over. I just wanted to leave immediately. The only reason I stayed was because I was so tired as I drove 11 hours that day, otherwise would have canceled and left the place.
worst place we stay for 1 night. soon as we walk in the room it smell, mosquitoes, see a cockroach in the bathroom, too many garbage outside the property and so on. we are ready to leave soon as we see everything, but im too exhausted from a 15 hours drive. so we stay for few hrs and left first thing in the morning.

This place was the most disgusting place I seen in SC. The lobby stunk so bad of cat urine I couldn't breath. The guy working the counter was so rude. I ended up counting my losses on this room $52 just to turn around and wàlk out and drove 11 hours home.. DO NOT BOOK HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY!

air condition did not work in the room. Room did NOT have any place to hang clothes. NO phone in the room. No ice container in the room. refrigerator worked poorly. Would NOT recommend anyone to stay there!

The rooms were dirty, the bedding had cigarettes holes in them, towels looked dirty and stained, no trash can , no hot water, floors dirty, no phones, refrigerator was disgusting, one bed broken and sitting on floor. Fixtures layjng on cabinets. Over priced. Very seedy place. But there was electricity. Perfect for a sex worker

One word no!
No.. no. A literal roach met on the radiator when I opened the door. No wash clothes on the room. It looked like an alley in the back of the building with the outside of the radiators/ heaters hanging off. It is obviously under renovations but it was so bad the obvious drug dealer was in front of the police but they were watching me like I was suspicious in my obvious work uniform.

I travel for work, and I have stayed at dozens of cheap motels. My standards are low. This is by far the worst one I've ever stayed at. Everything was dirty. The shower floor, shower curtain, bathroom floor, bathroom counter all had stains and debris that could have easily been washed away. The bedroom floor was too dusty to walk barefoot on, and the bed smelled weird. The toilet wouldn't flush, and the cold/hot water was mislabeled in the shower. I also noticed a poorly patched hole in the ceiling. Despite motels getting a bad reputation in general, I've never stayed at a motel so blatantly unkempt. The cherry on top was that two men nearly got in a fistfight outside my window at 6 AM. Overpriced trash.
