“so so”
When I went to check in, the person behind the desk was not friendly or helpful. As you know I had a reservation, when I gave my name, he asked if I had a reservation. I think there was about 10 other guests, one would think he would know who had a reservation ( when I stay at Days Inns, they make you feel like they've been waiting for you - even if they haven't) My first impression was not good. The room however was fine. The young lady at breakfast was very nice.
“You Get What You Pay For”
You get what you pay for. The service was ok. The room had a strong odor of cleaning fluid. The bathroom floor was so sticky my shoes were sticking to the ground for days even after cleaning. The beds were hard as a rock. But it was cheap.
“nicer places to stay in the nearby area”
Hotel needs some major upgrades!
“dirty and unfriendly”
I stayed with my family at this hotle on our way to Florida. I read the review previously, but the hotel/motel does not represent the reviews I read. First of all, the receptionist didn't speak English. It took me a while to explain to him that i booked the hotel via internet. There was also a car parked in front of the hotel with an opened trunk. So told him if he could notify his guests before it gets dark to close it because there were suitcases in it. He said that he doesn't care about that fact because it is not his car. The room was dirty, and the fridge didn't work. Breakfast is only half an hour so make sure you are there at 8:30 to 9 because they are closing the kitchen immediately. The good thing is that is on route 95 South next to exit 119.
“A Tent Might Be An Improvement”
There was a roof and an AC unit thart blew the curtains into a Disney-type dance performance forever. The floor was not well anchored, so it was spongy. Base molding was missing, there were stains on the carpet, and the pillows, well, I think the cases were thicker. The "super" breakfast was day old, half sized danish, day old half sized bagels and an assortment of nabs. There was coffee, but we had to go down the street after a taste. The savings weren't worth it. Other hotels down the off ramp strip weren't much more money, and I doubt you'd actually have to pay for ice.
