Great hotel, except for the curtains

We loved our hotel...except when it was time to sleep. Instead of curtains that block out the light from the parking lot, our room was equipped with transparent, thin curtains framed by dark curtains that you couldn't close. It made it very hard to sleep. However, breakfast was fine, and the employee at breakfast went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Beds were super-comfy. If they replaced the curtains, we'd happily stay there again!

All of our rooms are equipped with a set of decorative curtains, a set of sheers, and a set of black out curtains usually tucked away behind the others. Ok hotel for the cost. Breakfast is so-so but better than other similar lower budget locations. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Needed: light bulbs, fridge, microwave

It was adequate for something I got on short notice for the Jug. My room had two light bulbs burned out and I would have really appreciated a microwave and small fridge. I even had to ask for my do not disturb sign, which was missing!

We do apologize about the two light bulbs being burned out in your room. Our maintenance team tries their best to make sure everything in the room is functioning properly with every guest visit. Our Fridge and Microwave come standard in our Queen and King Suites, however if you need to warm up anything or keep something cool, we do so at the Guest Service counter. We also keep a nice supply of room supplies at the Guest Service counter as well such as Do Not Disturb signs. We can happily deliver any of these items to you in case you need them.

Easy drive to OSU or downtown

Pros: The hotel was sold out, but was still relatively quiet.
Cons: Smoother/higher thread count sheets and 4 towels for 4 guests.
Arrived very late, but breezed through the check-in process.

Our room was not clean. We even found an empty beer bottle on the floor in plain sight. There was only one young man working the desk and he was unfamiliar with the area. Prior to arriving we had called because our directions were inaccurate. The phone rang at least 20 times before being answered. Then he couldn't help us find the hotel bases on where we were. We were approximately 2 miles awY at that point. When I asked for someone else that may be able to help us he informed me that he was the only one working. When we arrived no one was at the desk. Then we realized he was the one outside smoking a cigarette. Very disappointed with the lack of service after an eight hour drive.
